The Fawley Guest House

Well what can I say an amazing welcome by the lovely Mel and Aiden..me and hubby have been coming here over our anniversary and Mel always goes above and beyond decorated our room and a card on the bed these lovely touches ..its like home from home . We love seeing Roger Zach and saying hi to grandad ...breakfast is to die for really sets you up for the day delish 😋...and the b&b is a short walk from the gorgeous Shanklin beach ...we love it here bedroom's are immaculate and if you need anything everyone is brilliant to help or advise in great places to visit....we will be back defo !!!love it xxxx

Well what can I say!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! First ever visit to the Isle of Wight and it did not disappoint, The Fawley is a beautiful B&B only a walk away from a gorgeous beach. We met with friends and had an absolute blast. Mel, James, Roger and family were fantastic and saw to our every need, it felt like home from home, they welcomed us like we were family and the accommodation was superb, breakfast was huge and delicious and a wide selection of cooked breakfasts, pastries, fruits and cereals. If we were stuck for things to do then Mel would give us suggestions of places to go, she really knows the island and we had options of so many places to visit. We honestly couldn't have asked for more, one of the children wanted somethinh for breakfast they didn't have one morning and within 10 mins this was gone out and got for them, what a service and certainly wouldn't find that at home!! If you are looking for a break away please give this wonderful place a visit as you will love it, thank you to the The Fawley team for making a holiday to remember 🥰

Wonderful weekend away, at a truly family run establishment. It's lovely to see generations of the family pulling together, to run such a gem of a holiday home. Cannot recommend more highly, and can't wait to return. Thanks guys

Very disappointed after reading the reviews we arrived to find the guest house looking very run down we were shown to our room & my wife smelt an odour so she pulled pillows out of pillow cases & we could not believe our eyes 3 of the pillows were stained brown not just small stain the whole pillow. I have never seen anything so disgusting in a guest house. understandably we did not stay & left immediately.

Perfect central location, 10 minute walk from the railway station, 10 minute walk to town, 10 minute walk to the seafront, lots to do for both younger and older, we saw a show at the theatre - approx 15 minute walk, lots of great shows there too. Fantastic hosts, lovely welcome, nothing too much trouble at this family run B&B, lovely clean rooms, really comfy bed with a smart ensuite with complimentary toiletries, the best breakfasts with lots of choice including cereals, pastries, fresh fruit & yoghurt, full English (of course) pancakes.... the list goes on :) - what more could could you ask for, thankyou Mel & James for looking after us for a couple of nights

We were heading down to the sea front in desperate need of refreshments with a 4 year old in toe. We stopped for some sandwiches, drinks and the loo. We sat outside but did go inside to choose. It was nicely furnished and clean as were the toilets. Great food reasonably priced. The owners are very welcoming and family oriented. Would consider staying sometime.
