A lovely peaceful room, very clean and well stocked with all necessities. Our breakfast and evening meals were of a consistently high standard, giving us a wide choice of good quality foods that were well cooked and presented. This was my second visit and it was great to meet the owners Michelle and Caroline again, who were kind and welcoming. They were also very attentive to our needs and happy to help us with our queries about walks and activities. We had an invigorating week enjoying the many different attractions of the island.

We enjoyed our one week stay at The Rowborough, which we found to be very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was good for us to tour the Island. Michelle and Caroline were able to provide us with good local knowledge. The breakfast, which was piping hot and cooked to order, set us up for the day.

Would definitely return to this hotel, Caroline and Michelle are very friendly and welcoming, I had a spotless well appointed room and the food is 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's also in a great position for Shanklin beach, town center and bus/ trains.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Rowborough Hotel from 4th-9th August. The room was lovely and the hotel was in a prime location for Shanklin beach. Michelle and Caroline are exceptional hosts and made us feel very welcome. They also gave us plenty of tips on towns to visit, things to see and places to eat in the evenings. The daily cooked breakfasts were also delicious! Many thanks to the Rowborough for their hospitality!

We had a really pleasant stay here. It was a last minute booking since my previous choice didn’t offer check in after 8 pm. I am so glad that I find the Rowborough for my journey to the IOW. Michelle and Caroline are warm and very helpful. Breakfast is perfect! The room is lovely and tidy, filled with lovely decorations. There is a nice living room with free maps and guides useful for plan every days’ activities. It’s convenient to get to everywhere on the island from here.

Having stayed at The Rowborough Hotel in 2018 and having such a wonderful stay, we decided we would like to go back. We were not disappointed!! Michelle & Caroline were as welcoming as ever and we couldn't fault their attention to detail. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was as varied as you wanted it to be and freshly cooked. We also took the opportunity to have an evening meal there this time. Michelle explained the menu. It was all freshly cooked and served with great attention to detail again and great value for money. 3 courses for £20. Highly recommend this hotel.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mum and other family members who stayed here for two nights. They all said the hotel was very clean, the breakfast was great and the location was good. They mentioned the staff at the hotel were fantastic and very friendly! Will definitely stay here again.

We’ve just returned from our first visit to the Isle of Wight, spending four nights at The Rowborough in Shanklin. Michelle and Caroline were the perfect hosts, the hotel was spotless and the food and service first class. Whilst it would be unfair to single anything out the steak and kidney pudding deserves special mention - wow! If you want to be looked after by people who clearly have a passion to deliver everything to the highest standard this is the place for you. Highly recommended.
