A huge shoutout to the owner, the helper and everyone involved during our stay here. You guys are the best. From the train pick up to the hotel, then when we arrived, the owner is so so kind to us, help us with the heavy luggage, provide us with the candy and let us eat the fruit and walnut. She made us butter tea as well. Taste so good. She make sure we are ready by 11 AM so that we wont miss our train 🚆. Will repeat??? 100% yes

This is a beautiful hotel allocated near THe north gate of dukezhong ancient Town. Rooms is so cozy. THe bed and pillow is so Comfortable . THe room is spacious and clean and have all THe ammenities. Hot Water was nice. My room was at THe ground floor. Owner was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Halal food is available nearby as well for muslim traveller.

One of the most beautiful places we have spend the night. The owner are so nice and friendly. The room is clean, they even have heater in the room so you won't be that cold at night. The location is convenient, for Muslim traveller, it's super easy to find halal food. There's one right before the lane to the inn. It's also walking distance to the ancient city and really easy to catch a Didi. Recommended this place!

The hotel is incredible! The owner is extremely kind and helpful, the hotel is clean, warm, and beautiful. Rooms are hot, comfortable with the best bed we had so far in China. Very technological, hot and delicious shower, floor heater and bathroom heater, the best soaps, towels, and room material we had so far. The room is ******* style, extremely beautifully The hotel is very well located at the entrance of the old town. Super recommended for a stay in shangri-la!

Just a stone throw away from the old city. The room is designed in such a way that they mixed ******* culture with contemporary architecture/ design. Very high tech shower that they digitized the water temperature and installed with sensor lighting. The internet was fast and there was tv in the room, just great for me to hangout in the room. Heated wood floor and blanket made the room so cosy. And the skylight was a bonus. The owner was very kind and sociable. She even offered me wine made by them, which was lovely. I enjoyed talking with her because I can sensed she was genuinely enjoying our interactions. She is like a younger sister I never had. In conclusion, this property is warm and convenient at a very competitive price. I highly recommend this place for your stay at Shangrila. Tips: the restaurant just at the entrance was nice and cheap.

The room was so cozy and warm, even though it was cold outside. The owner very nice and they have a cute little daughter. I wished I had more time to play with her. I can recommend this place and if I come back I would stay here again. Actually it is very good value..with digital shower, heating, humidifier and everything is very new and the design is so beautiful. The location is great cause a taxi can drop you off right outside but you are also close to Dukezong It is impossible to give less than 5 !!!

Excellent. Everything is great. Location near to main road, restaurants and gate to ancient city. Room same as picture. Nice, warm and cosy. Host are very friendly and helping for all my concern. I can also offered to use washing machine for free.

Beautiful room just the same as in the advertised photos. High tech hot shower with good pressure. Bed was very comfortable with thick comforters. Floor heating was good, made the room warm enough in December with no central heater. Bathroom has no floor heating so a little cold but the toilet seat has warming. Very clean. High tech room with xiaodu is delightful. The host was always available and so friendly and helpful, always made us smile when we were going in and out. Location is good, right next to restaurants. Exceeded my expectations so I highly recommend.

The lady owner and her brother very friendly and helpful.we read lots of the positive review of this hotel this why never disappoint. The location and the room are excellent. The floor of the room nice and warm.If you want to visit Shangri-la should to book this hotel.They could pick up at airport and taking you to the tour in reasonable price.Don't forget you need to have wechat application to contact for communication with them.from the reviewer Couples from New Zealand

What a lovely place to stay! The sister and brother took well care of us, cleaned the room every day and provided us with water daily. They also offered us some fruits for free. The room was very well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We also really enjoyed the bathtub after some cold days outside.  The location is perfect, 5 min by foot to the city center, reachable by taxi, and lots of cheap food options around.  The floor heating did a good job too. Overall a very pleasant and recommended stay

Lovely place in a more quiet edge of the old town but walking distance to great food. Easy access, stone's throw from main road where you can get didi and load/unload luggage. The hostess was super friendly and helpful, and the room was amazing with floor and bathroom heating.
