Review from Malaysian I would say this hotel is absolutely fantastic! The environment deserves 5 stars. We were served a welcome drink and dessert upon check-in, and at night, we enjoyed a comforting sweet ginger soup. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices. The receptionists were incredibly helpful and friendly—they even assisted with our luggage despite having a lift. My 3-year-old son loved this place so much that he asked to stay longer. He was also delighted to receive a pack of cheese snacks from the receptionist. Truly a wonderful experience!

Satisfied with the hotel service. They serve hot towel and drinks upon our arrival. The room facilities is awesome as they will serve fruits, desserts and snacks every day. They also provide 1 free trip of pick up to hotel. Overall is a experience.

Good location hotel with new rooms and well equipped facilities such as under floor heating and oxygen generator which was helpful in high altitude area.

Room is big for family of 5 and look clean, comfortable and beautiful. Only negative part is hotel provide only small bottle of shampoo n body lotion assuming most may not shower owing to high attitude.

Customer service from 梅朵管家 was 200% super good. Her response was fast, good arrangement for taxi pickup and send us to high speed rail station, laundry service able to complete on the next day. Other staff was also super good that he used his Chinese phone numbers to help us to download the 400 overs photos for the local service （藏服摄影）that we have engaged in Shangri-la. Look forward to improve their breakfast buffet spread. Will book this hotel again

The managers were very friendly. They greeted us with puer tea and a delicious bread. (The bread was so nice that I wanted to know its name) A staff led us to our room and explained about the facilities. After we came back from a walk, there were welcome soup and fruits in the room. The room is very clean, large and nice. We used the humidifier in the room as winter in Shangri-la is really dry. We used the oxygen supplier but it turned off for some reason during the night time and we couldn’t find out how to turn it on. It’s only a 15 minute walk from the Dukezong old town. The hotel also offered a drive to the train station. Thank you!

Overall it was a good experience staying at the hotel. It is also value for money. Service is good and the breakfast is decent. Location is also convenient.

Exceptional stay at Z Hotel Shangri-La! Friendly staff, comfy rooms, and thoughtful touches like choice of fragrance for our bath and lotion, welcome drink and snack, mini bar and free laundry service. Especially our exclusive butler, 梅朵, she has been very responsive and helped us to arrange good driver to send us to balagezong with a reasonable price, she even arranged a driver to take us to the train station, free of charge. Highly recommended! Location is also good walking distance to Dukezong Ancient City. We always walk there around 15-20 mins walk.

The hotel provided excellent service, with friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were clean and spacious, making for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

A very good experience in Z Hotel. All the staffs from reception, breakfast area, housekeeping, drivers and 梅朵管家 are approachable, friendly, helpful and warm. Oxygen was released into the room 24 hrs. The toiletries smells so great. Location is 4 mins from Dukezong ancient Town. 15 mins to Railway station and airport. Highly recommend this Hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Hotel staff are really friendly and welcoming, when we arrived at 9pm. Upon check in, we were served with hot towels and some pastry. We were escort to our room (welcome fruit and dessert). Overall, great experience and will definitely come back again. Great things - Breakfast spread was decent (Yunan Mixian was the bomb) - Room was supply with oxygen - Room was really clean and new - Complimentary laundry service done by the staff (not coincidentally laundromat) Things to improve - The heater in the room was too warm even after trying to adjust the temperature. We need to open the window to let the cool breeze in. - no fridge in the room - no air conditioned. As per staff, Shangri-La is usually cold throughout whole year so only warmer is provided in the room

The place is really well renovated and the hotel provide pick up and send off service from train station/airport. Driver is extremely good and we end up booking the hotel drive for a day trip out. Hotel is well equipped and everything is clean and properly. Highly recommended for family or friends.
