JI Hotel (Shanghai Caohejingmei Road Branch) is as good as ever. The service is good, the front desk service attitude is very good, especially the male waiter, he is polite. The hardware is good, the hotel is newly decorated, and it feels comfortable. The room is large, much larger than hotel rooms of the same level and price, and very comfortable. The environment is good, it is convenient to eat near the hotel, the price is not expensive, and parking is convenient.

Great hotel with excellent service from staffs. Very close to subway and many shopping malls and eateries around. Room cleanliness is excellent and bed stiffness is just nice for me. With a big smart tv you never feel bore staying in the room that comes with many channels for entertainment. Breakfast is very basic with mostly oriental foods. Will definitely stay in JI Hotel if I ever come back Shanghai.

I didn’t use any amenities but I saw they were listed on the site. The location is extremely convenient if you need to depart from Hongqiao airport/train station; about a 10-15 minute drive depending on time of day. And the staff were very helpful. I was able to communicate with them in Chinese. Even though they didn’t speak English, they expressed that they had their translator readily available for guests who aren’t able to speak Chinese. 👍🏽

The room facilities are relatively old. The female waiter at the front desk of Building 6 who was on duty at 14:00 on New Year's Eve did not upgrade me at first. It was obvious that she was an old hand who wanted to fool me. When booking the hotel, I noted on Ctrip that the high floor facing Nanyang was quiet, but I was given a room on the second floor of Building 6 (old, broken and small). The bathroom smelled bad (this room was said to be given as a gift when booking the New Year's Eve dinner for the group). I booked the hotel separately and paid extra for breakfast and the New Year's Eve buffet, and the total cost of the three items was not low); when I was having the New Year's Eve buffet later, the handsome manager of the restaurant paid a return visit (the pigeon and drunken crab were inedible) and helped negotiate with the male manager of Building 7 to upgrade me to the third floor of Building 7 (special thanks to these two managers here for their five-star service). The room and service of Building 7 can be considered five-star; overall, it is quite different from Xijiao Hotel (of course, the price of Xijiao is much higher than this; the catering is too average, the New Year's Eve dinner buffet is very poor, the ingredients are bad, not the chefs, the food procurement staff should supervise well, which affects the reputation of the State Guesthouse; Finally, I would like to praise the restaurant Parick WEI The breakfast waiter was very busy and had a strong sense of responsibility and a good attitude. In addition, the customer service cleaning aunt was also very good and the room was cleaned very diligently. The overall service was good. The comments were realistic; the hotel location and environment were good 🐈🦢; ㊗️ Happy New Year to everyone, and everything goes well 🧨

The hotel has a great city view from the room, a clean and spacious pool and gym, and an excellent location for transport and shopping. However, international TV channels were offline, so no evening movies available to relax. Customer service was unimpressive, staff had weak English ability and attitude wasn’t very friendly. The super deluxe room felt standard aside from the view. The sky view bar and lounge was closed for renovation, but this was not mentioned on Trip.com. Decent stay, but some disappointments.

I recently stayed at Jinglai Hotel·Selection (Shanghai Weining Road Subway Station) and was highly satisfied with my experience. The hotel's location is excellent, offering convenient access to public transportation, making it easy to explore Shanghai. Despite choosing a smaller room, it was well-designed and perfectly suited my needs. The space was efficiently utilized, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a well-located an comfortable accommodation option in Shanghai.

This hotel was recommended by a friend.  It did not disappoint.  It’s a hotel that has hosted many government leaders and royals. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.  The furnishings were classic and elegant.  Close to bars, restaurants.  The Bund area was only a short, cheap Didi ride away.  Breakfast was included and the choice extensive.

The hotel is very well located and beautiful. We live in Shanghai and had been curious about it. The tour was in Chinese but since I read the book available at the hotel I was able to see the different areas. When the guide spoke I turned on my translator and was able to follow along. Ethan at the front desk was amazing he was very helpful and kind. He made our stay a memorable one.

The hotel location is really good, easy to go everywhere. The hotel service was great too, more specifically the front desk Leonard Huang, and manager Mr. Wang who are both so friendly. They helped us solve any problems right away, including helping us while we were getting a room upgrade. Really appreciate and thankful

The hotel location is walking distance to the metro station, and there is a shopping mall beside the metro station. But the hotel cleanliness is very poor , the room has cockroach and informed housekeeping and reception about it, they say will clean it but the cockroach still inside the room after I come back😖😖😖😖
