Hotel dekat Pudong Intl. Airport (PVG), Shanghai

It was a great option for me because I’ve arrived late at night as the hotel located right in the middle of the airport. I only wish that walls could be thicker and I couldn’t hear neighbors and other noises from outside

Super lovely staff, clean, big rooms, if you are like me a mum travelling on your own with two kids for long (11 hours) layover. Then I highly recommend coming here have a shower, food, some stretches and sleep. We arrived in Shanghai at 6am and I booked for the day before and extended my checkout for later that same day I arrived. Hotel staff spoke enough English to get by comfortably. I paid 30 CNY from airport to hotel as transfer is from 9:30am. Lovely transfer back to airport. Highly recommend coming back to the hotel.

The hotel located nearby PVG, and not very far from Shanghai Astronomy Museum. There is a transfer bus to/from the airport. Service is very excellent.

Very nice small hotel closed to PVG airport. The hotel is old, but newly renovated room. Inside the room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel located near Haitiansan road, one station away from the airport. Very convenience to go to downtown by train or catch early morning or late flight because hotel provide free shuttle service. Front desk staffs and shuttle service staff and drivers also very kind. I would choose this hotel again if I travel to PVG in the future.

For the few hours I had between transfers, this hotel was enough to suffice. Expectations should match the price. Outside the hotel there seemed to be quite a bit of road traffic noise (even at 2am when I arrived), but if you can handle that as white noise, it’s fine. Front desk staff were able to speak English and were helpful for planning to avoid rush hour traffic on my forward journey.

Good location and free shuttle bus every hour. Make sure to call the front office to confirm your flight info.

Its ok for overnight sleep due to late arrival or for early departure. The best part is timeliness of free shuttle bus to and from Pudong airport. Room 3105 is rather old style and color, lights not brighten enough, bed base and pillow need to be updated, bed frame is noisy when turning around. Breakfast is good enough with 68 RMB if not included in room rate.

I booked this airport hotel in Shanghai mainly because of its proximity to the airport and the advertised shuttle service. However, the shuttle only runs once an hour and only departs from Terminal 2. If you arrive at Terminal 1 at night, you first have to make your way to Terminal 2 and then hope you don’t just miss the shuttle—otherwise, you’re stuck waiting for up to an hour for the next one. Because of this, we ended up taking a taxi, which cost about 50% of the room rate on top of the overnight price. That definitely made the stay more expensive than expected. On the plus side, the shuttle back to the airport in the morning was punctual and even dropped us off at Terminal 1, so no complaints there. The hotel itself looks exactly like the pictures, but the rooms are not as well-maintained as they appear online. There were cracks in the ceiling and corners of the room. The lighting was pretty minimal, but at least everything was clean. The biggest issue was the temperature. It was around freezing outside, and the window was left open when we arrived. There was no heating, only an air conditioner, which was turned off. As a result, the entire room was absolutely freezing—probably close to the outside temperature. We had to struggle with the remote, which was only in Chinese, to turn on the heating. Even after setting it to 30°C, the room never really warmed up, so it was far from cozy. This was by far the biggest downside of the stay. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable, and we slept relatively well. However, the hotel is right in the airport’s flight path, so it’s quite noisy. The rooms are also very poorly soundproofed, so earplugs (which are provided) are highly recommended. For the price, it was okay, but I wouldn’t stay here for more than a few hours of sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth.

When I first entered the hotel, the reception part doesn’t look so clean, but the check in was smooth, they help me arrange my airport drop-off seamlessly, this is a good service~ and the room is quite big but just there’s nothing special. Recommend to just stay a short period of time for airport transfer.
