Ulasan Wassim Hotel (Shanghai Lujiazui World Expo Center)

The hotel management somehow decided to never turn on the air-conditioning in the lobby and dining area throughout my entire stay. They could have switched off air-conditioning during night time instead when it is more obvious that night-time temperatures would be more bearable. Not suitable for any stay longer than 2 days I suppose.

Pros: price, actual hot water in both bath and shower (this is hit and miss in China- often get lukewarm water), clean bedding, working thermostat (last hotel my room never got really warm), comfy plush slippers. Cons: while the shower and tub were first glance clean, I had to clean off some kind of glue off the bottom of the tub before using it. The carpet is in desperate need of replacing. The room was a bit dusty along the bar and under the water kettle, water kettle needs some proper descaling. Lastly, the hand soap package required scissors to open it, which is annoying.

it is good in price and quality. the rooms are clean and large, but it did not have. frigobar It is not so close to the metro station for when you travel with children, but perfect for adults.
