The check in experience was certainly not great. Firstly the Reception person was grumpy and must have had a bad day; Secondly he send me to floor 6, my room but had only validated to floor 5, hence i had to return to reception to get a new room card. The room was quiet, had everything one needs, great location in the middle of Xuijiahuai. Quiet, clean and a huge TV. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the centre of shopping and dining !

Stayed for 2 nights during a business trip. Location is decent with many eateries and shopping mall around. The rooms are quite small but have all the necessity you would need for a quick trip. The facility is showing its age, perhaps some touch up is due.

Rain added a couple days to this most recent stay at the Ji Hotel (Xujiahui Park location). …There really isn’t a more convenient location with the park, subway station, and Metro City mall right out the front door.
A special thanks again goes to Mr. 伍德 at the front desk for his assistance and patience.

This is the fourth time to book this hotel for my Aunt.
+ great location
+ super comfortable bed
+ friendly, polite and smiley aiyi/cleaners (so helpful and lovely)
+ good room size (business room)
+ quiet even though next to road
- some rooms smell of smoke / people smoke in the hallways
- some rooms do not have hanging space for clothes
- front desk are cold / never smile - female staff always rely on one male member of staff to speak English
- only one small elevator

Great hotel with excellent service from staffs. Very close to subway and many shopping malls and eateries around.
Room cleanliness is excellent and bed stiffness is just nice for me.
With a big smart tv you never feel bore staying in the room that comes with many channels for entertainment.
Breakfast is very basic with mostly oriental foods.
Will definitely stay in JI Hotel if I ever come back Shanghai.
