Nice place to visit. Good price for solo trip. Staff can’t speak english but can use translated to communicate Water 2 bottle per day. Mad cleaning room everyday This plug at hotel

Girl on the front desk is very friendly and checked in the foreigner without any problems ☺️ My room was small, but still very comfortable and clean. This price and location is 🔥 that took only ~10mins to get to the West Nanjing Road metro station

The Hotel was good, we mainly chose it because of its central location close to people’s square, which didn’t disappoint.

The living environment is terrible inside the “hotel”, the duvet and pillow set is dirty, there are insects like cockroaches and mosquitoes in the room. The worst of all is the staff attitude, which is disrespectful! And they didn’t state it here, but they do not accept foreigners, not even people with a Hong Kong Identity Card. Anyway an overall very unpleasant experience.

The staffs are very good, lovely, and helpful. But the accommodation has no elevator, the stairs are narrow, like a crowded community, very dirty, smells like cockroaches, musty, the air conditioner from the window is very loud, the bed is hard like a wooden board, itchy all night, like there are mites on the sheets and blankets, overall it's like living in a slum. I have to ask for a refund and book a new, better hotel. It's my nightmare in Shanghai. Thankfully the staff understands and helps to refund.

The room was relatively tidy and clean. I stayed in a special offer room and although it had no windows it was not stuffy. The disposable face towels are good. I chose a different discounted room every day for a week. Compared with other hotels of the same price in the surrounding area, the Friend Hotel has the best value for money! I chose this one for the last two days!

I feel that the Hi Inn Nanjing West Road Branch of Huazhu is a very good choice. It is clean and sanitary. The guy at the front desk is warm and thoughtful, and he also helped me for free. The upgraded room is more cost-effective. There is a real separation of wet and dry, with a very large window. Towels and slippers are disposable.
