If you just need a few hours of lying down time outside of the Pudong airport and don't want to pay much, this is the place.

I was pleased with the value for money and I will consider booking again. A free airport shuttle has been mentioned in other reviews. I did not see this option however, when I was leaving, there was a taxi tout working next to the reception desk. The receptionist was asleep so I am unsure if the taxi tout was working with the consent of the hotel. The taxi tout wanted to charge 60RMB to go to the airport in a "special car". I opted to use Didi and paid 35RMB for a normal car.

There is a bus at Exit 29 of Shanghai Pudong Airport. You can use the shuttle service for free. It runs every 60 minutes from 19:00 to 10:00. The area around the inn has a doya atmosphere typical of industrial areas, but the cleanliness of the room is fine. The drainage in the bathroom was not good, so it might be a problem for some people.

The hotel in Shanghai was a huge disappointment. The main problem was the transfer. It was advertised, but they didn't explain where exactly to look for the car. None of the staff spoke English. The air conditioning was broken and it was too cold. The room was on a high floor but there was no elevator.

This hotel is located in the center of a village, with many shops nearby and convenient food. The biggest attraction of this hotel is that it picks up or drops off at the airport. But to be honest, the hotel's hygiene and facilities are very poor. The narrow windows cannot be closed, the towels and bath towels have been used for many years, the building has 4 floors, there is not even an elevator, and there is a peculiar smell in the building. I have traveled to many countries this year and more than ten cities in China. Compared with similar hotels of the same or similar price, this hotel is the worst, no doubt about it.
