Great location within walking distance. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean will definitely stay here again :)

Rex hotel is my favourite . My 3rd time staying in the hotel .. Though is a 3 star hotel is really good . The rooms are clean Only now no more supply coffee & tea . 😝 Location 👍5 mins walk to Hoehyeon station and down the road Namdaemun market & not far from Myeongdong. You just shop none stop . Rex hotel location was perfect . The staff is kind , one day was raining they give us umbrella .. I book for 5 nights but only 3 nights available . I got to transfer to another hotel . So sad . Will come again . ☺️. Thank you

Please do not book this hotel in April.. or any day of the year for that matter! The website did not mention anything about not having air conditioner. Also the website stated that there was laundry service. Nope! Instead, the one man customer service gave me directions to the nearest laundromat. Boooo! My reservation was for 5 days. I left after 2 days. The room had dead flies in the sink and the carpet is an ugly red black color that was once, I’m assuming, a bright red. The bathroom slants to one side and my husband felt like it shakes every time he goes into it. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location.

We booked our stay from April 4-9, but we left after only one night! The website did not mention anything about Seoul Rex Hotel not using the central air conditioning for the months Jan-April. They suggested to open the window. Even when we did open the window, it was still warm in the room. The noise from outside can be heard all night. I suggest you find another hotel besides this one. They also had carpet in the room which probably isn’t cleaned on a daily basis. The shower slowly drained and had creaky floors. Everything is outdated. If you are on a budget and don’t mind the warm temperature, and poor support for beds, then maybe you can book this hotel. The one positive comment is the location which is near Myeongdong night market and Namdaemun Market.

The hotel is a bit old, but the location is very good. It is very close to Hoehyeon subway station, Shinsegae Duty Free Shop is just opposite, and it is very convenient to walk to Namsan Tower, Myeongdong, and Lotte. The price is very cost-effective. Baidu Metro is quite useful for taking the bus in Seoul. It is also very convenient for us to take the bus to Gyeongbokgung Palace from the hotel.

I had to suddenly change my plans on the day, so I booked REX Seoul as soon as I arrived. I was planning to stay the next day, so I was lucky to end up staying consecutive nights. I've stayed at this hotel before COVID. It's a little old, but the rooms are spacious and it's close to the station. There's a convenience store in front, and a 24-hour restaurant. You can walk to Namdaemun and Myeongdong. The front desk staff can speak Japanese. There's a bathtub, and the water is hot and there's plenty of it. I think I'll make this my regular place to stay when I come to Seoul! The room is exactly as it appears on the reservation page. There's plenty of room even with two suitcases spread out.

The hotel is close to the subway station. You can get there quickly after exiting Exit 1 of Hoehyeon Station. It’s also convenient to walk directly to Myeongdong👍 And you can go to the New World Duty Free Shop just across the street.

The hotel facilities are older, there are no disposable items, and the room space is very narrow. The location is very convenient, close to Hoehyeon Station and about 15 minutes to Myeongdong.

The hotel is relatively old, but it is clean and tidy enough. It is suitable for people who are not too picky. It is conveniently located and accessible! There is a subway at the door, and the airport bus 6001 also goes directly! There is Chinese service at the front desk, but not in the evening shift!

The voices from next door and in the hallway were so loud I couldn't sleep. The hotel was also very old. However, I think the location is great.

I just arrived in Seoul and wanted to live close to Seoul Station and Myeongdong, so the Seoul Rex Hotel in the middle became my cost-effective choice. Their rooms are relatively large for Seoul, where every inch of land is valuable. Except that they are a little old and the beds are hard, the facilities are very complete, with a Japanese feel. The front desk staff speaks very good Chinese and is friendly and enthusiastic. Because there are not many sockets, they also provide a 220V power strip, saving the converter! It only takes about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to Shinsegae Department Store, which has a Christmas HD big screen show, and it is also very convenient to go shopping in Myeongdong! The price of the hotel fluctuates a bit, so it is recommended to check the room price one or two days before check-in. Although it is only about one kilometer to Seoul Station, the road is not easy to walk. If you bring luggage, it is recommended to take the bus or taxi.
