Private baths were great. Breakfast was a bit limited. Could have used more snacks at the lounge. Shuttle bus was smooth. Feels a bit pricy for what you get.

Hananoyu Dear Person in Charge I stayed here the other day. My impression is... hmmm, it wasn't that great! I've been to a lot of hot springs in various prefectures in eastern Japan. Although it advertises itself as all-inclusive, which is popular these days, beer is only available until 6pm? 7pm? Is there really a need to limit it like that? And how much can you drink from that little wine glass? Even if you're a heavy drinker, you'll probably only have 5 glasses? 10 glasses? Even if you drink twice as much, 20 glasses, how much would it cost in terms of price? I found myself calculating. As soon as I got in the bath, there was no razor. Especially not in the amenity area where the yukatas are kept? Nor was there one in the room? I asked the staff and they said they had one in the shop, but when I went there, I found out that I had to pay for it. 50 yen? Do they charge for it? So along with the charge for plastic bags, they also started charging for disposable razors? And next to the counter, there was a charge for women's pampers? It's not that I feel bad about paying 50 yen. The idea is to charge for this separately. If they were to hand it over for security reasons, I would understand... The same goes for the beer mentioned above. If that's your style, then it can't be helped, then that's fine. Are there any places that charge for razors these days? Aren't they even free at day-trip hot springs? In conclusion, are they not thinking from the customer's perspective? Are they lacking in hospitality? Are they not providing a blissful meal and lodging? It's a small thing, but the negative impression that crosses your mind will make you think about returning a second or third time? What do you think about this in order to compete with the famous hot spring inns in the neighborhood? I'm glad I was able to use the local coupon, but will I return next time?

I stayed alone. In hot spring resorts, it is often expensive to stay alone, but this hotel had a set price for one person. However, the accommodation building was called Ren, and it was a Japanese-style room without a bathroom or toilet, and it looked quite old. There were two open-air baths and one indoor bath, neither of which was very large. The water was directly drawn from the source, and some parts were disinfected with circulating chlorine. The open-air bath along the mountain had a very nice atmosphere. The food was described as an Italian buffet, but it was a regular buffet including Japanese food, which is common in hot spring hotels. The food was not bad, but there was a lot of plastic tableware used, which made it look cheap.

I stayed at the Hananoyu Annex Renren in a room called Rosemary on the third basement floor. After checking in at the front desk, drinks and snacks were served in the lobby, and the homemade pickles were especially delicious. At the same place, you could also get free wine at night. At the evening buffet in the dining area of Hananoyu, you could eat freshly grilled steaks. The tempura was fried piping hot right in front of you by the chef. Other dishes included sea bream carpaccio, oysters, pie stew, etc., which were all delicious. The breakfast buffet also had freshly fried tempura. The salad had fresh vegetables. There were three hot springs, but they were all a bit of a mess...there were oil fan heaters here and there in the corridors, but it was very cold and it was hard to move around, so I would have preferred if there was an indoor bath and an open-air bath in one place. The room I stayed in was a private room where you could enjoy karaoke, with speakers installed in two corners of the ceiling. The elevator sign still said "rental room" as before. It appears that it has been renovated into a 6-tatami Japanese-style room. Therefore, there is no bath, toilet, or sink. The view from the window is also a rocky surface. You have to lay your own futon. This was confirmed at the time of booking, so there is no problem. However, the air conditioner in the room was not turned on in the middle of winter, the water in the kettle was not full and had not been replaced, there was no water in the humidifier (there was no place to fill it yourself), and the cloth on the tea set was inside out... However, the staff member who came to the room after receiving the call apologized and quickly brought a kerosene fan heater and water. In addition, although it was advertised as a women's only room, the bar on the closet was too high, making it difficult to take out and hang hangers, and on top of that, the sensor light in the shared toilet did not turn on in the middle of the night, so I had to relieve myself in the dark. There were also some deficiencies in the facilities, making my stay, which was meant to soothe my fatigue at the hot springs, a disappointing experience. The women's only room had beautiful and nice cushions, and I felt that they had made an effort to improve it, but I think that if they had thought a little more from the female customer's perspective, it would be more convenient and there would be more repeat customers. We hope for improvements, such as thorough daily inspections of the facilities.
