During my recent stay at a hotel booked through Trip.com, I encountered several issues that left me dissatisfied. Firstly, despite specifically booking a non-smoking room, the hotel had a noticeable smell of smoke throughout, indicating a failure to properly enforce non-smoking policies. Moreover, the hotel itself appeared to be quite old and in need of maintenance.
On a positive note, the room service staff were helpful and responsive to my requests. However, I was disappointed to find out that the hotel's facilities were undergoing maintenance during my stay. This made it inconvenient for guests, especially families with babies, as there were multiple flights of stairs and a lack of baby-friendly amenities.
Another disappointment was the lack of attention to detail in the restaurant. I observed that the tablecloths were not changed after guests finished their meals, which raised concerns about hygiene.
Overall, my experience at this hotel fell short of my expectations. I hope that hotel takes this feedback into consideration to ensure a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience for future travelers.
