I booked an impromptu trip to Hainan for my birthday this year and decided to explore both Sanya and Haikou. My first stop was SUMMER HOTEL in Sanya. I booked a Summer Garden Suite 1-Bedroom as I love having a separate area for lounging and sleeping. I arrived around mid-afternoon, and the check-in process was smooth. They buggy our luggage to the room even though it was just a walking distance away. The room was gorgeous, and generally clean! It was stocked with basic toiletries like shampoo, soap, toothbrush, comb, shavers, slippers, robe, water and tea! The staff were incredibly friendly and generous with water and tea upon request - they gave us 8 bottles! The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which 16 degrees definitely gave us a good night sleep! The kitchenette was a nice touch, but it would’ve been better if it came with basic utensils like plates, a microwave, or pots and pans to heat up our food. The location was fantastic—right beside a mall and the train station, making it super convenient for shopping and getting around. I couldn’t find the pool or gym facilities during my stay, which was disappointing. Overall, for the price and space, this was my favourite hotel in Sanya. While it’s quite far from the main Sanya attractions, it’s perfect if you’re looking for a place to relax, eat, and shop.

The mattress was very thin. , it can’t be used at all, it feels uncomfortable even when sitting, I’m very disappointed, I can’t live in it at all. I originally booked a family room just for two beds, but it’s okay to just pull out the sofa and use it as a bed. It’s better to have a thicker electronic one. , the mat is extremely thin. Moreover, it is a long way from the same front desk as the Summer Hotel. The first floor is dark and windy at night. This Summer Suite does not have its own front desk. The sound insulation is not good during the holidays. There are construction sites outside, high-speed trains, and the ups and downs of the airport. The bathroom is very small. I really don’t understand why the double bed room is used as a suite.

Be sure to book the Summer Suite Resort Hotel, which is more comfortable than the Summer Hotel. It has one bedroom and one living room, and there are also multi-room and one living room, which is suitable for traveling with a large number of people. There is a terrace at the door of every room, which is very convenient! The gym and swimming pool are shared and the sanitation is cleaned every day, unlike many apartment hotels. This is worthy of praise!

The location of the hotel is good. It's in the Summer Station Shopping Mall, not far from the Coconut Dream Corridor. It's just a short taxi ride away. It's also a 40-minute drive to Dadonghai and Yalong Bay, which is very convenient! The room is very new. It has an open kitchen, a washing machine and a balcony. It is very suitable for family travel and is very cost-effective ~ except that the hotel is not close to the beach, everything else is very good.

After dragging my tired body and waiting for so long, I felt sleepy and tired. The hotel did not offer any apology or compensation. The hotel also couldn’t deliver takeaways. I had to come down and walk to get it myself. It was very inconvenient and the price was not cheap. The room was no different from an ordinary B&B. The price/performance ratio was very low. And the cleaning staff even messed with things. I won’t book it again next time. That’s it.

I offered to change the room, so they changed it for me. Other hotels I stayed in had similar situations and they would change my room as soon as possible.

Facilities: The basic facilities are very good. The suites are large and fully equipped. The disadvantage is that the lobby is too far away. If you order takeaway, you have to walk a long way to the lobby to get it. The elevator can be used without swiping a card, which is a safety hazard. Hygiene: OK Environment: Next to Sanya Station, it’s a bit noisy Service: Average. I didn’t call when the takeaway arrived. I didn’t tell them where the breakfast was.

A newly opened hotel in a shopping mall. The environment is very good, and I got 2 movie tickets as a gift when I checked in. It is very suitable for tourists who have a short stay in Sanya and take the high-speed train to Lingshui Wanning the next day. The only drawback is that when I wanted to reserve a complimentary airport pick-up, I was told that the flight arriving in Sanya was too late and I couldn't pick up the plane.

I really like the decoration style of the summer apartment, it is simple yet tasteful. The one-bedroom and one-living room is suitable for two people to live in. It is also very clean. I like the small terrace at the door that has a cool breeze and is very comfortable at night. The gym is great, with high-end equipment and a heated swimming pool that you can use for free.
