Deluxe Hotel Santorini

Such a lovely stay, received communication prior to arrival offering assistance with airport transfer If needed, which was so thoughtful. Receptionist couldn't have been any more genuinely helpful & friendly. Stay in room 205, which had a lovely view of the pool, great if you're looking for somewhere quiet, but in walking distance to the town.

This place is fantastic value for money! We stayed for 5 nights from may 16th. The place is the most clean hotel I’ve ever stayed in, very modern. Lovely clean pool with free towels for sunbeds. The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sheets, beds are so so comfy. The hotel is central to everything and 2 mins walk from centre shops, bars, restaurants etc...Caldera view only 4-5 mins walk away to the top of the hill! Overall loved our stay here and would go back anytime and will Be recommending to others. Only thing was there was no iron in the room but hotel has ones you can use for free. Got to say when our holiday was cancelled due to Covid we were pleased and grateful to the hotel for allowing us to changes dates twice so that we could have our holiday. However after arriving and being transferred by the hotel itself to the hotel, we were then told we were required to pay again as the hotel had new owners! We had been in touch with the hotel weeks before our arrival to check the reservation and transfer was still ok to put our kinds at rest as the hotel had been difficult to contact with ******* also finding it difficult to communicate with the hotel. Again we were reassured as ******* had paid the hotel but upon arrival we were told it was to the previous owners and the current owners wanted us to pay. Had they advised us of this we would have booked elsewhere before arriving and now having unplanned expenses! They even sent us to their sister hotel saying they had no rooms available at the Deluxe Rest Boutique Hotel even though looking on different sites they did and were half the price we paid. Due to this we left Santorini to stay in different hotel on a different island as this had left a bad taste in our mouths. Why could they just have told us we needed to pay again before making the journey.
