low accessibility, disappointing breakfast, bathroom for children and low care in the villa. Accessibility: take care, if you have any difficulty walking, this place is hardly accessible. You have to climb on top of the village, rising 65 big steps at least… definitely not for everybody. Nobody warns you that you cannot reach this place if you have any walking difficulty. They should!!! The parking, the markets, everything is down hill so you have to climb more than once every day. The breakfast: it is outsourced to the hotel nearby. We always had to wait 30, even 50 minutes to get any food and drinks. What is absurd is that you have to book your breakfast in advance in an app, so they know what you have ordered, for which time, and still let you wait minimum half an hour, to finally serve you something of poor quality. Big room of improvement. The villa: it looks nice at a first glance, nice furniture, good equipments. it’s kept clean by a very nice lady, Malvina, present and attentive. But, at a second glance you notice the lack of care/logic in the villa: a broken handle on the room window, the sink in the bathroom very low, almost at knees height (when you look in the mirror over the sink you see your belly - i’m not joking- and we are just 1,70cm tall)… it’s a bathroom for children! not comfortable at all if you have back pain. The host: we’ve never seen him, never! he has not welcomed us, nor even given us any instruction to reach the villa. after sms and calls at our arrival, he finally answered to our taxi driver, who was asking for directions. and he sent the cleaning lady to pick us downhill. nobody for bringing our luggage uphill (65 long steps rising the hill… pulling the luggage). The lady offered to take one of our luggage but she was pregnant… would you give your luggage to be pull uphills to a pregnant lady??!!) after a complain from my side about the expected level of service for a villa with that price, the host barely apologized, via sms. To the few requests of information about activities in the island he answered with telegraphic texts or attaching brochures. Basically ignoring phone calls and not calling back. Never offered help for booking or more infos. Whirlpool: the one positive aspect was the heated whirlpool on the terrace, with a lateral view on the caldera and the sunset, very nice. even if there’s no privacy, with tourists passing by in any moment of the day, is a place where you can relax and enjoy the panoramic view.
