Pluses: The hotel is not too far from the beach, about a 5-7 minutes walk. Budget hotel if you want to have a cheap night when arriving late in the airport. Minuses: The hotel is providing transfer from the airport but it will cost you 40 EUR while later we found out that other taxis only charge 25 EUR. The smell in the bathroom was horrible, we couldn’t keep the door open. At night, be prepared to be woken open by screaming donkeys and roosters. Reminds more of a motel than a hotel. The rooms don’t have any views

Stayed here again, late august. As ever the hotel is superbly run and impeccably clean. The rooms are basic but very functional, with a full size fridge (although quite full with "bar" drinks. But there's enough room in there for your own stuff etc. A hair dryer is also provided as are towels for the pool. The pool is usually quite empty and their are always plenty of sun loungers to use through out the day if that's your thing. The beach is literally five minutes away, with perissa to the left and perivolos to the right. The beach features black sand that gets very very hot so make sure you wear footwear. The hotel does serve a breakfast that is very good quality although its a fairly limited choice and we only had this one day. We did opt of the arranged trasfer from the (still awful) airport, but due to mix up with the transfer firm we were kept waiting at the airport for 40 minutes, but this isnt really a fault of the hotel as such. its worth pointing out that the hotel is surrounded by normal "life" and thus you have construction work and numerous barking dogs around the hotel that can be a bit annoying, but you kinda get use to it. Overall, Markezinis is a great hotel to base yourself to explore the area, and its worth mentioning that George on the front desk is very helpful and nothing is too much hassle.

Super Cosy hotel with amazing breakfast and host, George is the best! The entire staff, especially the cleaning lady are simply amazing. Walking distance from the beach, around the corner there is a mini market. We booked a quad for several days, booked the Catamaran tour, pick up service from and to the airport was done easily, all perfectly arranged. We definitely can recommend this hotel!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Questo piccolo hotel è situato nella campagna, quindi lontano da caos, traffico e rumore, ma la spiaggia è a cinque minuti a piedi. Ambiente curato e pulitissimo, camere spaziose, ben arredate, terrazza molto ampia. Buona colazione. Costantino, il proprietario, sempre molto attento e supportivo in caso di necessità. Assolutamente consigliato!

Très bel hotel avec piscine, le petit déjeuner à la carte (évitez le petit déjeuner compris) est cher mais somptueux ! Il n'est pas trop loin de la plage de sable noir avec des restaurants et bars. Il est dans une rue très calme à l'écart des routes tout en étant proche d'une route principale qui permet de visiter toute l'ïle.

Struttura curata con una piscina pulitissima. Camera confortevole, pulita e ben arredata. Staff gentilissimo e professionale. Grande rapporto qualità prezzo, probabilmente per la posizione defilata rispetto alla spiaggia che comunque si raggiunge in tre minuti a pied.

Je le recommande les yeux fermés. Georges est prévenant, à l'écoute, attentionné.... Pour exemple, j'ai demandé ou se trouvait l'arrêt de bus, en plus de répondre à ma demande, il m'a imprimé les horaires et a appelé la compagnie pour demander un petit détail !Tout autant de louanges à la femme de chambre. Matelas confortable, Chambre simple et charmante. Petit déjeuner convenable pour 7€ dont un jus d'orange frais. Vous ferez également connaissance avec la star des lieux "The Cat". Proche de la plage, ou se trouve de nombreux restaurants. Prestation transfert du Port à l'hôtel très très bien.
