Octant Santiago

A very nice hotel with a very good restaurant. Nice view from our room over the city. Close to attractions. The breakfast was very good as well.

Superb staff, great facilities. Food was great and buffet in the morning was excellent.

Such a gem! We stayed here for one night, however immediately upon arrival, we were already plotting on ways we could stay longer. The atmosphere was calm, which was much needed after a busier time spent in Lisbon and Lagos. The staff was exceptional, and the food, on site, was delicious. The grounds were trendy and inviting. I highly recommend booking!

We have just spent the past 5 nights at this wonderful, cute & quirky hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed. We had a room with a terrace which was so lovely. We ate in the restaurant for 3 nights and 1 lunch and everything we had was of the highest quality with a good menu choice. But what stands out most is Joao ( the hotel director ) and his amazing staff - nothing is too much trouble for them. They were friendly, polite and always had a big smile on their faces. A special thanks to Alex and his gin & tonics and the Two Ana’s who were just delightful. A car is a must in order to explore the stunning beaches as there is not a great deal in the surrounding area. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for making our holiday with you extra special.

Nice place with clean rooms, great food and service. We are pleased beyond our expectations.

We spent just one night here, but the place is amazing. All the staff is very professional and attentive. From the Reception Team, to the housekeeping team, and also the Food and Beverage team, they are all very kind and here to make your stay unforgettable. Because of a very small time, we didn’t have the chance to have dinner in the restaurant but the menu seems to be amazing

I just want to say THANK YOU to JOAO, who has been the friendliest of hosts. His precious advice, and genuine enthusiasm made a huge difference to our stay. This hotel works well for families with small children - rooms are comfortable, little noisy though - the food is really lovely. Great base to discover the area but it's not a luxury hotel per se. A very good option for Santiago do Cacem!

Very nice hotel located in a beautiful place. Santiago do Cacém is a quite nice village with a good restaurants not expensive at all. It has good beaches 30 minutes away by car. The hotel is fashion with a new concept of restaurant which is integrated with the Bar and reception zone. It has a beautiful pool surrounded by nice garden. The service is very good. All the staff are very kind and allays available to satisfy your requests/needs. I recommend to all how wants a relax days of vacation.

Myself, my husband and our 3 year old had a wonderful 10 day break here. We wanted a relaxing base to explore Alentejo and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were so warm and friendly, especially when making our little boy feel welcome. They made lots of brilliant suggestions about where to eat, which beaches to go to (there are countless breathtaking sandy beaches), and what to see and do in the area. We particularly enjoyed the local Roman ruins and gin distillery. The hotel restaurant is brilliant, with freshly cooked meals and delicious wine. For the kids there’s a little play area to the side which is in full view of the tables so gives parents the chance to relax and eat. There’s also a lounge with board games and of course the outdoor pool. We absolutely loved the hotel and area and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.
