Very helpful staff, wonderful spa. The ski guide was a very welcome bonus, especially as the snow was poor at lower levels so having someone who knew their way around was invaluable. The hotel is a little out of the way, but on a frequent bus route, and the hotel minbus will come and collect you on request. I'm seriously thinking of going back, which is really rare for me.

Low quality food. Very disappointed, never happened to eat so poorly in a resort in Val Gardena. Quality over quantity!

WINTER FAIRYTALE at Hotel Diamant Spa Resort St. Christina, Val Gardena For the second year in a row, we have the unique experience of welcoming the New Year holidays at the Diamant Hotel. Together with us we shared the wonderful moments in the most convenient and comfortable Diamant Hotel and our friendly family, who, like us, were fascinated by the wonderful views, by extremely hospitable home Mussner family - responsive, appreciated kind and smiling and thanks to Verena. The family atmosphere and coziness she has created made us feel at home. The level of the hotel is extremely high, clean, well-maintained, great spa center, and the food in the restaurant is extremely tasty and varied. We were most pleased that Michele was with us this year as well - a ski guide, an exceptional professional. The ski tours with him were an amazing experience for true prices of this sport. He led us on the most amazing tracks, we rested in the coziest restaurants with the tastiest food, with the most wonderful views of the Dolomites and above all we experienced real emotions. Thank you, Michele, for making our ski vacation unforgettable this year. Wait for us another year, we will come again to Hotel Diamant and we hope that Michele will not be a guide of these wonderful mountains again. I will recommend the hotel and see you again. Our first time staying in a “proper hotel” for our skiing holiday, rather than a catered chalet, and for really very little extra we were charmed by the friendly, delightful staff, the exceptional food - with five course dinners (three courses extensive buffets and two “set”, with three options) - and an ideal location for quick access to the vast Dolomiti Ski area. Although you need to get either a public bus or the hotel’s own shuttle to get to the nearest lift, these run about every ten to 15 minutes, the very reasonable price for this hotel compared with a “ski-in / ski-out” location makes this a very attractive proposition for anyone wanting excellent value for money. The Mussner family are to be congratulated … but as others have said in their reviews (and one of the main reasons that we chose this hotel from the TUI / Crystal Ski options) was the inclusion of a FREE Ski Guide. We had come as a group of four, and “buddied up” with another group of four for five days skiing as a group with Michele. He took us to the best locations given the weather and snow conditions, our abilities, and state of the lifts, and reserved tables for lunch at outstanding mountain restaurants. Made a huge difference to our enjoyment of the holiday having the pleasure of some like-minded company, and Michele was a knowledgeable, charming host.

We had an amazing week at Diamant Hotel, which flew by like a dream. The hotel was unique - wonderful views, surrounded by the Dolomites, extremely hospitable hosts - responsive, kind and smiling. We really liked the family atmosphere and coziness, we were impressed by how the entire host family is committed to the pleasant stay of all guests. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The food was gourmet - a delicious and varied menu every day. The spa was great - the saunas had a great view of the mountains. Every night we sat in front of the fireplace in the lobby after a full day of skiing there. But the jewel in the Diamond's crown was the ski guide Michele provided by the hotel. Our most fulfilling skiing experience was with Michele. He is an outstanding professional, an excellent companion with a great sense of humor and intelligence. He knows the whole area very well and always took us to great slopes and beautiful views for photos and to rest so we could relax and enjoy the skiing without worrying about getting lost on the many slopes of these beautiful mountains and without wasting time wandering around the lifts and looking at the ski map uncomprehendingly. He was also extremely attentive, caring and patient with all of us with him. Our whole family is delighted with Michele. Thank you Michele for making our ski vacation unforgettable. We will certainly come again to Hotel Diamant to relive the pleasant emotions you gave us with your wonderful attitude towards us and above all we hope Michele that you will again be our guide through these wonderful Dolomites. I recently returned to Hotel Diamant Spa Resort for a week of skiing with a group of friends. The experience was great as usual. Leo, Verena, and the rest of the Mussner family and their team made the experience so enjoyable and memorable with their professionalism and friendly demeanor. Breakfast was plentiful and food in the evening was well-prepared and delicious with a number of local specialities offered. The ski trips with Michele are highly recommended, his local knowledge is fantastic, he always found great places to visit and managed to book lunch stops at some great restaurants on the slopes. After a day of skiing it was great to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at the hotel spa, a tranquil and peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding. Thanks again for another amazing stay !

Wonderful stay at the Diamant Spa Hotel with the family. Staff all very friendly and attentive. Wonderful Spa facilities, good food and table service both in the restaurant and the bar. А very special mention to Michele the ski guide, and to the Hotel for providing that service. We took full advantage of Michele's local knowledge to make it a very special holiday. Michele was always upbeat and in positive mood, making sure we had a safe and very enjoyable tour of the various fabulous dolomite slopes. He also took us to the best places to have a coffee and lunch on the ski days. Thanks so much Michele and Hotel Diamant. Yes the Hotel is not in town, and is in between Ortesei and St Cristina, but the public ski bus service is excellent, and wherever you're staying you'll need it anyway to enjoy the many ski areas, and if you go with Michele you can avail of the hotel shuttle. Actually you can avail of the hotel shuttle even if you don't go with Michele, but the public bus service is perfectly good.

A fantastic hotel with great facilities, staff and food! The spa facilities are of very high quality, with a variety of features for everyone. All staff were incredibly helpful and catered for all needs. I would like to highlight Michele - The Ski Guide, who was outstanding! He made our trip 100x better! A day out filled with laughs, knowledge and amazing sloped, he went head over heals to ensured you had a good time, and made our experience very memorable. Cannot recommend using him as your ski guide enough, or at the least getting some advice from him. The food all round was exceptional. A great menu that would be suitable for most, and a great buffet selection for breakfast and starters and desserts in the evening. Overall a fantastic stay at the Diamant, cannot recommend enough and a special thank you to Michele for an amazing few days out!

This hotel is well worth a visit. Firstly the area of Santa Cristina and the rest of the resort is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous scenery, great transport links and amazing skiing! We will definitely return to the resort. The hotel was 10/10! The staff were all friendly and attentive, it was clean, well designed, had great facilities that were all maintained to a very high standard. They arranged various events for you throughout the week and feel put effort into all guests had activities to do if they wanted. The food was good and had lots of variety and our waiter Horatio was great! The hotel also offer free guiding services each day with Michelle. This was by far the best service from the hotel, it was great to be taken out in the mountains and taken to lovely restaurants. We met some great people and managed to ski so much of the terrain, instead of always using the map. If you book this hotel I would highly recommend skiing with Michelle if you are a intermediate skier or above. Michelle was always friendly, enthusiastic, willing to help and a great laugh to be around. Thank you from us all for making our holiday extra special!!
