Hostal d´ Cordero

We were welcomed and shown straight to our rooms so it was great that we could drop our bags and then check in with such speed. The rooms are large, the aircon efficient, the courtyard a lovely haven and breakfast was one of the best that we’ve had in Cuba. It is a 2 minute walk to the main square and it was a haven of a place to stay. I’d stay again if I was in Santa Clara.

Excellent service and very good location. The rooms are impeccable, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. We felt very welcome, the hosts provided excellent advice for dinning options, tours and transportation. Situated around the corner of the main Park in the city center. Our room was upgraded with no extra charges.

The best place we've stayed in Cuba! The patio is very nice, and refreshing Perfectly located near the main square in Santa Clara, with WiFi, the host has also some great recommandations for the restaurant Breakfast very nice! I highly recommend, and also to stay 2 days instead of 1 like we did.

We stayed in this beautifully decorated casa for one night. The rooms are large and well looked after. Bed did not sleep that well, was very hard. When we arrived at 2 pm I asked if we could have dinner in the casa. Unfortunately this was not possible, I should have reserved this in advance. Since we didn’t know, we had not sent a message in beforehand. We did get some tips where to have lunch and dinner but would have loved to have dinner in the beautiful garden. We have stayed in three casas since we are in Cuba and found the personal attention in this casa the least but the decoration and eye for detail were the best of the three.

We had the pleasure to spend our days in Santa Clara with this lovely couple who were our hosts at this hidden gem with inside garden, fountain and peaceful rocking chairs. It is indeed even better than it looks like in the pictures, with just a short walk from the main square but offering a quiet night sleep, good recommendations, safety and the personal service of a couple who feel like your friends waiting for you. Beautiful breakfast in the garden, clean and spacious rooms and the freshness of a private chill out place after a days walk in the heat. Keep it up and all the best for the fam!

Totally recommend Hostal D'Cordero for the cosy hotel itself, the great location, the superb breakfast and for a staff that is extremely helpful with suggestions and advices which help you to visit around Santa Clara and beyond

What a wonderful place to stay. Warm welcome, nice host! Vintage decorated. Clean room, high ceiling. Dinner was perfect. The double bed is quite small, for big adults, but that has its charm. Brought us closer together ; ) We can truly recommend this accommodation for 1 or 2 nights.

The host was very friendly and speaks English very well. Excellent breakfast in a quiet environment of a nice, green patio. Very central location, walking distance to Tren Blindado. Possible to park your car in the street of the hostal and have it supervised for a small price. Possibility to book a massage for reasonable prices.
