Hotel Orosol

Orosol is a basic but good hotel. It's located in a quite area of San Antonio but on walking distance from the restaurants and bars. The rooms in Orosol are modern and clean. The bathroom is a little bit small and has bath/shower. There is a minifridge in the room which is very handy during hot days to keep your drinks cold. Beds are good, not too hard, not too soft. Overall Orosol is a nice hotel to stay if you are in the San Antonio area, and don't want to stay in too noisy and crowded hotels.

This review would be 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the receptionist at the hotel called “Maria”. From the minute we arrived at the hotel Maria was blunt and rude to us at check in, and preceded to hold a grudge against us for our whole holiday. She mentioned her ex boyfriend was from the same county that we live in (Kent), so we assumed that this was the reason she was so rude to us, however that is no excuse to have such poor customer service skills in a professional environment. At check in my friend asked to upgrade his room, as he’d been advised on the phone he could ask on the day for this, yet she seemed annoyed and unhappy that she was having to do a tiny bit more work to check him in, despite it being a request that could result in the hotel earning more money. She turned her nose up at us every time she saw us walking through reception, despite us only being respectful throughout the whole stay. Small things such as she gave us a straight and blunt “No” when we went up to reception to ask for an Iron and ironing board and when we asked for the possibility of a late check out, whereas when we asked another receptionist both these questions, they took their time to investigate and try to help us out. To then top this all off, me and my friends were waiting in reception whilst we all showered and got ready to go to the airport, she was making strange sarcastic remarks towards us, which we entertained out of respect and to try to keep things friendly, until she told one of my pals to sit up straight in the comfy chair he was sitting in. The tone she took was as if she was his mother or school teacher, and sparked us all off to complain at her for her lack of customer service skills. This argument heated further and further, until the point we asked to speak to her manager, but she refused this request using the excuse that it was a Saturday. At the end of this argument we said we’d had enough of her and hotel, so asked her to call us a taxi so we could leave and forget about the her and the hotel, to which she refused. This then meant finding a taxi elsewhere which put us at risk of missing our flight, as this argument had gone on for so long. She then threatened to call the police on us, which we agreed to given that we were not in the wrong, but it would seem this was an empty threat to try and get us to leave, as she proceeded to not call anyone. The hotel itself had good facilities and clean rooms, but was ruined by our experience with Maria, and I hope the hotel sees this review, so they can reflect on what kind of people they choose to hire for their front of house in the future

Ideally Situated just outside the main *****. We upgraded to the top floor room which was large and had the outdoor terrace. The room itself was nice but the aircon wasn’t mega cold and the bathroom needs updating. You share a pool with another hotel an 8 min walk up the road. We didn’t use it but walked past on our way to Ibiza rocks and it looked ok. My gripe was that I had an email saying checkout was 1pm which was ideal for our flight, however when we arrived we were told it was 11am. They will hold your bags for you, but that didn’t suit our day. I would return as we only do 2 night stays.

Amazing stay as always,everytime we visit Ibiza we always stay in hotel orosol. This time we stayed in the special suite,my partner had booked it as he surprised me with a engagement at Mambo, the room was beautiful and the outside terrace is amazing to relax in throughout the day without having to leave your room. The hotel staff were all lovely,friendly and helpful and they are everyone that we have stayed at hotel orosol over the years! We will definitely we back again in a few months and we will be back in the special suite! Thanks for much for an amazing stay for such a special memory!

The hotel's facilities met all the required needs and had no issues with the rooms. However, the receptionist MARIA on our arrival and departure was extremely rude and clearly has an issue with the English. She was extremely rude with her manners toward us throughout the entire stay and it was topped off when we were leaving and she refused to order us a cab. As the front of house to a hotel, this is completely unacceptable and should be dealt with.

We enjoyed our stay here. Alberto was amazing. He was kind and always greets with a smile. Thank you so much Alberto and the rest of your team!

This is such a great hotel... well maintained, clean, nice decor, good facilities, comfortable room and bed, nice bathroom, everything worked well, fridge and hot drink-making facilities in the room. The staff are all fantastic - so professional, efficient and really friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is great - much better than many other hotels. Great value for money, great location, safe parking. Reasonably priced with fantastic service is rare in Ibiza, but you get both at Hotel Orosol.

I'll start saying that Sant Antoni is one of the 3 busy areas in Ibiza (along with Santa Eularia and Ibiza Center or Eivissa), and that means Sant Antoni can get busy (and loud) during the night. The Hotel Orosol is in the quite side of Sant Antoni, but still within walking distance from the bars and restaurants around. The hotel was fine. Our room was clean and we had some good rest there. Breakfast was buffet style, and it was good. In general we had a pleasant stay. Our only complaint would be that we had to go down to the front desk multiple times to ask for things that should've been taken care before our arrival or while we were out. Nevertheless, the staff was always helpful and solved our inquiries just fine.
