Residence Hotel Lu Nibareddu

Just come home from a well needed few days relaxing break with my mum .. you really need transportation to stay here it’s miles from anywhere!! There is even a hill to climb to get to reception.. do not advise for anyone with mobility issues .. on the plus side was greeted by Roberta .. who gave us information on busses .. but again walking miles to the bus stop first .. also the app to pay for your ride is In Italian which was useless for me .. so we travelled with a lovely taxi driver called Carlo , whom we communicated through text which was great … the bbq restaurant was lovely a few members of staff were very welcoming james and Jennifer were very friendly.. We stayed in one of the bungalows very cute and stunning views but very cold at night needing a heater on every morning.. was cleaned once during our stay which was fine but cleaner never locked our door apon leaving ..had to ask for a kettle.. and as we were only b&b had no appliances to cook anything our selfs .. the place would benefit from having a shop on site ..as a long walk to shop which does not have a lot of options ..also a bus which collects from the residence all seasons they have guests… not just in season..and more info in reception for things to do was no help to discover day trips ect all in all we had a pleasant stay .. but glad it was just a short break …. As now my body needs to recover from the amount of walking we have done lol

The place was clean and well equipped enough. The patio area was nice but people above us were quite noisy. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi was nearly inexistant.

It was our second visit to this complex. The accommodation is located in the northeast of Sardinia near the town of Monte Petrosu. The location is the perfect base to explore Sardinia. The apartment we stayed in was with a beautiful sea view. Small apartment but sufficient for a family of four. The decor is simple and basic and slightly dated, you can see that the apartments are used a lot. The shower is not very big, but we got by just fine. The beds are also not very big. I myself am 1.90 cm and stuck my legs outside the bed, not that I slept less, the beds are otherwise fine, but something to take into account. Furthermore, the accommodation is located on a hill with differences in height, which can be difficult for people with walking difficulties. The complex has two swimming pools that you can use from 08:00 in the morning until 20:00 in the evening. The pool is clean and well maintained. The nearby restaurants BBQ pizzaria and Strandtent La tavarnetta are also great places to eat and drink. La tavarnetta in particular was a favorite of ours. Sit on the beach with delicious cocktails or a cup of coffee. In short Lu nibareddu is a great place to stay if you don't attach too much value to luxury, when asked if we would return again, we say yes. The staff is friendly, the location is just perfect, close to the beach and various towns and entertainment, the only thing is that on a next visit we will choose an apartment that is slightly larger (6 people)

Family stay for 5 nights next to the beach. We had high expectations due to recommendations and the price. The apartment was big and close to sea but in need for renovation so the value for money was low. Overpriced and far from town and restaurants. Beach bar and restaurants also overpriced. Only good thing was the nice beach.

Lu Nibareddu is a very beautiful and cozy hotel. The pools are very well kept, so is the residence as well, the staff is super friendly and the breakfast is delicious with many options. It's like a 2 minutes by car (or a 15 minutes walk) to a very beautiful beach (Taverna). Keep in mind that it's located on a hill so walking is a bit of a challenge. However, being on a hill gives you this incredible sea view. Also, the rooms are very noisy (you can hear your neighbour snoring :) ). The nearest supermarket is a 10 minutes car ride away, and there are some (but not many eating places in the area). However, this gives it a very quiet and tranquility vibe. Overall we had a very pleasant stay!!

We stayed here for 10 of the longest days of our lives it was orful we extended our hols from 7 to 10 days before we left home and what a mistake that was, I had arranged taxi collection from the airport though the hotel and it arrived 1 hour late, When we arrived at the hotel the driver charged 35euros for a 6km ride when the hotel informed me it was only 10euros, the young man on reception booked us in and basically gave us a map and expected us to find our room in the dark and having never been before in the end he did take us which he did not like to do and watched me struggle with a broken suitcase. when we left the reception we where greeted by the steepest hill i have ever seen a goat would struggle to climb it. when we got to the room and put the suitcase inside i asked if we could get a meal in the restaurant to which he tutted and showed us which way to go, What an experience that was we where greeted by the most arrogant and rude person i have ever seen running a restaurant we felt like lepers asking for a menu and a drink,(Not my wife's favourite place to eat) after 3 days we had to change rooms to the one we had originally book, well that room was the worst room we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world the spare bed i had to clear ants of it every day us lucky we had know body sleeping on it, At 61 we where put in a room at the very end of the property and the steps we had to climb every day was like climbing Everest and that is no joke the where horrendous(Bit like the staff). We asked if there where buses to the local towns and where told to download the app ticketdrop only available in Italian not English i asked for help and anybody would of thought i had asked for money as the female receptionist gave me the dirtiest look for asking. I could say a lot more about the hotel but i would be here al day. Would we stay here again NEVER.

Die Bungalows sind eigentlich dunkle Hütten, sehr einfache Ausstattung, das Badezimmer ist unterste Kategorie, winzige, gemauerte Duschstelle mit Textilvorhang, schmutzige, ggf. schimmlige Stellen in den Fliesenfugen und im Duschbecken. Ausführliche Bewertung s.u.: Unsere Unterkunft Lu Nibareddu in San Teodoro war die letzte von 8 Übernachtungsquartieren auf unserer  16tägigen Sardinienrundreise. Bedauerlicherweise die schlechteste von allen aufgesuchten, dafür aber eine der teuersten. Unser Urlaubsabschluss ging damit in die Hose. Nach unserer Ankunft wurden wir in der Rezeption von zwei Damen sehr freundlich empfangen und uns ein Anlagenplan sowie ein Stadtplan von San Teodoro ausgehändigt. Uns wurde aufgrund unserer Buchung bei *********** der Bungalow D6 zugewiesen. Als wir dort ankamen waren wir schon mal etwas geschockt, da es sich um eine kleine gemauerte Hütte, umgeben von dichter Vegetation, d.h. Gestrüpp handelte. Alles hatte dadurch aussen ein dunkles Erscheinungsbild. Es gab keinen Ausblick in die Landschaft ausser ins Gestrüpp. Innen war die Hütte ("Bungalow" ist als Bezeichnung sehr übertrieben) äusserst einfach eingerichtet. Es gab ein Bett, einen Stuhl, eine Kommode mit TV, dazu nur kahle, weisse  Wände. Kein Bild, keine Deko. Wenn man die an dem Fensterladen bzw. an der äußeren Lamellentür fest verschraubten Mückengitter nutzen will, dann müssen die Läden geschlossen bleiben. So kommt fast kein Licht mehr in den Raum und wenig Luft. Es ist wie eine finstere Höhle. Man hätte zwar aussen vor der Hütte sitzen können, aber durch die dichten Büsche sitzt man wie im Gestrüpp. Als wir die Lage der Hütte reklamieren wurden uns jedoch zwei alternative "Bungalows", d.h. baugleiche Hütten (D3, D5)  angeboten. Wir entschieden uns für Nr.D5. Dieser "Bungalow" ist zwar von der Bauweise die gleiche Hütte wie D6, aber zumindest hat man aus dem Fenster einen Blick in die umgebende Landschaft und in einem Ausschnitt in der Vegetation auch Blick auf das etwas entfernt befindliche Meer, den einzigen Lichtblick an der Unterkunft. Innen ist die Hütte leider ebenso kahl, mit weissen Wänden, ohne Deko und nur mit funktioneller Einrichtung (Bett, eine Taschenablage, ein Stuhl, 1 TV, Raumbeleuchtung) versehen. Es gibt einen zusätzlichen, winzigen Raum mit Kühlschrank, einem kleinen Regal und Kleiderstange. Ein Safe wäre zwar im Kleiderschrank vorhanden, aber ohne passenden Schlüssel und ausser Betrieb. Safes gibt es nur an der Rezeption. Auch der als vorhanden angegebene Haartrockner ist nicht im Zimmer/Bad. Dieser muss eigens in der Rezeption ausgeliehen werden. Die Dusche selbst ist winzig. Das gemauerten Duschbecken ist max. 50x50 cm gross und hat nur einen textilen Duschvorhang. Es ist eklig beim Duschen immer den nassen Vorhang auf der Haut zu haben. Eine zusätzliche Handbrause gibt es nicht, nur einen normalen Duschkopf. Lu Nibareddu war übrigens die einzige Unterkunft auf unserer Tour die keine Duschkabine hatte. Zudem fehlen Ablagen (es gibt
