Our stay epitomised that you should never judge a book by its cover, but in a bad way. Beyond the excellent breakfast, brilliant breakfast staff, beautiful decor & easy parking, this hotel fails to meet its own aspirations. Sadly the management let themselves down with extremely poor customer service. The Spa was also broken for most of the time, A couple of tips: do not book through a third party, do not book half-board and do not expect the customer to be right in this hotel. And make sure to be back by 10pm latest if you don’t want to argue for a night cap! The junior ‘suite’ is an extremely comfortable and clean superior or executive room on the normal hotel scale. But the breakfast is off the scale and is the one thing that does exceed all expectation.
