We arrived to the hotel and a child about 13 yrs old was running the front desk alone when we checked in. I explained to him we had reservations and were checking in. He continued to offer rooms to us but again I explained we already had a confirmation for 2 rooms. I tried to show him the booking which he didn’t know what he was looking at. We finally got the room keys & he showed us to our rooms.5 mins later he brings the remote then another 5 mins later he comes to bring us the WiFi codes instead of just giving it to us all during check in. There was a dirty towel in one of the rooms and no towels in the bathroom or no blanket. This matter was brought to the attention of the child in charge so he brought clean towels and removed the dirty one. He also brought a blanket which he said should normally be in the closet. That evening the new man running the front desk stops us on our way in to the hotel and explains that they have an issue with their credit card system so we have to pay in cash for the rooms & we have to do so the following day. By the time we get to our rooms it was 8:45pm so we wanted to shower. No hot water was available. We called the front desk and the same man said he would check on their boilers. Every 10 minutes he was calling and telling me 10–15 more minutes. Until about 10pm and we finally gave in and fell asleep. He told us that they had an issue with a pipe freezing causing the issue with the hot water. It is absolutely unacceptable that they hadn’t figured out this issue prior to our arrival. We had been traveling 24 hours and all we wanted was a hot shower. The following day there’s a new man and a new child at the front desk. We explained the issues to them from the night prior and they said we could talk to the manager after 12pm at the hotel since he would be around and see about getting a discount for the first night due to all of the inconveniences. They also asked us if we had been asked to register and fill out their check-in form which we hadn’t been asked to do so by anyone (they didn’t even ask my name or the booking confirmation #) so they said we could just do it during check out. I asked them about the payment issue and they had no idea what had been explained to us but did let me know that paying in cash was not the only option. We could also do a bank transfer. They also asked if we wanted a cleaning service done and we had declined because our luggage was open. They understood so we went out and returned to the hotel that night. The manager was not around and the same man from the 1st night was running the front desk. He stops us again and lets us know the water issue has been fixed and that we need to pay for the rooms. We asked if we could pay in dollars or CC if their issues were fixed. He said pesos were the only option which was very annoying since we obviously expected to pay via the CC that we used on Booking. No se los recomiendo, en la última noche el personal se robo el dinero que dejamos en la habitación, lo reportamos a la administración y lo único que dijeron es que ellos no se hacen responsables de nada. No mostraron absolutamente nada de empatia, lo cual es muy lamentable, cabe mencionar que ni siquiera me dijeron que preguntarían al personal de limpieza, el cual ingreso a la habitación sin mi autorización. No puedes ver la tv el sistema de WI fi pésimo. Ruido toda la noche por los bares que están en frente. No hay secadora de cabello. Lo más preocupante es que los empleados roban a los huéspedes.

Estuvimos 5 noches en el hotel y todo había estado bien, desempacamos todo, incluidas alhajas y dinero, justamente en la última noche (hoy), en la que ya estábamos haciendo maletas para salir mañana temprano, nos percatamos que se llevaron el dinero en efectivo, lo cual inmediatamente se reporto a la administración, cabe mencionar que cuando se hizo el reporte con el Gerente simplemente dijo que no se hace responsable de nada, y es que en realidad, cuando te roban en un hotel los mismos empleados de limpieza, das por hecho que ya no lo tendrás de regreso, pero, al menos, esperarías escuchar que va a indagar con quien entro a la habitación a realizar limpieza, (aclaro que nunca se autorizamos el ingreso a nadie). Así que si piensan hospedarse en este hotel piensen en qué no pueden dejar nada de valor, para evitar robos, y que tendrán que andar por todos lados con sus objetos de valor y dinero. Así que por esta malisima experiencia no recomendamos al Hotel Provincia.

Sobresaliente el resto del hotel , Fabián y Cris espectacular atención y comida, platos abundantes , relación precio calidad sin discusión. Super recomendable los mariscos y los postres, mención especial para Fabián y cris
