Ulasan En Rou Libre

I can't begin to describe how amazing this place is. From the communication before arrival to the actual stay itself, everything was perfect. The hosts are so friendly; we were given a lovely tour including the troglodytic caves and an explanation of the history of the site. It's FASCINATING! We were even told to help ourselves to the delicious fresh herbs growing in their garden and use their washing line, if we needed. The gite itself was immaculately clean and well though-out. The bed was soooo comfortable and there was even a window looking into one of the cellars, complete with original wine-making machinery. The pool is a real highlight; heated, big enough (and deep enough) to properly swim in and with a toilet, shower and changing room. A perfect spot to laze around in the sun! We are very much planning to return to En Rou Libre. There are lots of things in the area we still want to do and we have never stayed in such a perfect place. Thank-you to the family for such a wonderful holiday!

We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend.

Nous avons découvert ce lieu magnifique à l'occasion de retrouvailles entre amis (11 personnes) le temps d'un week-end. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires (visite guidée du site ; conseils sur les activités dans la région) ainsi que la qualité des prestations proposées (gîtes rénovés avec goût et bien équipés ; salle de jeux). Avec une mention spéciale pour la piscine chauffée qui a fait le bonheur de nos ados ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir en essayant de rester un peu plus longtemps pour profiter pleinement de ce site !
