Wasn’t a pleasant experience. Poor service and very dirty overall. Bath had mold all over. Ac wasn’t working.

I recently stayed at Arawa Park Hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—close to Rotorua’s main attractions and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The room was spacious, clean, and featured large, comfortable beds. Considering the affordable price, it’s excellent value for money and ideal for anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay. The staff were attentive and friendly, even offering to heat up meals for guests—a thoughtful touch that added convenience. I also appreciated their focus on security, as they took note of my car’s plate number during check-in. I noticed that the hotel has washing machines and laundry facilities, which could be very useful for longer stays. While I didn’t ask if these are free for guests to use, it’s great to see such amenities available. Clearer information about their usage would be helpful. One downside was the lack of adaptors in the room, which made charging devices a little inconvenient. Adding adaptors or universal outlets would greatly improve the overall experience for guests. Overall, Arawa Park Hotel is an excellent choice for a comfortable and affordable stay in Rotorua. With minor tweaks like providing adaptors and clearer communication about amenities, it could be even better.

We booked it at the last minutes. The hotel location is very good with a big car park. We will definitely stay again.

The room is spacious and our little one loved it as he can run and play inside. Cot is free for 2yrs and below. Will recommend this hotel especially for families with kids.

Came over for wifes 55th birthday. Have stayed here lots in the past. We like the big rooms and balcony. Place is getting tired, needs a renovation. We asked for high floor and got level one. Reception didn't see the note. Room service trays left in corridor for 3 days. Should have been a nicer stay. They do absolutely nothing for birthdays!

Stayed here for a two day staycation away from Auckland. This hotel was formally Rydges Rotorua. The premises was a little bit dated but otherwise very comfortable and satisfactory. From check in to check out the staff were fantastic. My room was serviced on my second day of the stay which was very much appreciated. I had dinner in the restaurant on the first night of my stay and that was also fantastic. And also a couple of beverages at the bar. I was also upgraded into a room that had a spa bath and a view of the Rotorua racecourse. I would highly recommend this hotel 

the hotel was very nice, unfortunately very smelly too but that is because it is Rotorua and it smells everywhere.

Great time had there. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great.  Only thing I didn’t really appreciate was, we didn’t have a kitchen sink in our room which we were a bit confused about. Had to fill up the kettle from  the bathroom sink. That’s ok, but if I had known previously from the booking, I  would have asked for a room  with a sink.   Otherwise very satisfactory😁

The size of the room is big, but the bathroom is a bit old and needs to be updated, and there are lights that are not working, but so far, our stay was good.

good location and easy access to all attractions and. Room is quite big and bed is big as well. Recommend to all!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were great. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, a fantastic experience—I’d definitely stay here again!

Hotel is old, very old. Shower curtain stank and they didnt have a new one to change to. The apt faces the parking lot and dumpster. Early morning trash pick up made it difficult to sleep in and was very noisy. Most of the staff were nice but one woman staff was very unprofessional and rude. Walk to center is about 20 mins. Idk, everything seemed pricey so probably ok if you trying to save. Not that its a cheap hotel but comparatively it was cheaper.

Nice clean room easy to find, good service at front desk ordered room service meal was delicious

It's too old , the air conditioner is not working. The breakfast has not much option.
