"If you're like me you'll be checking reviews daily worried about your stay, well here we are.... Currently at playaballena and it's exceeded all expectations. If you don't have kids then maybe give this a miss as they are absolutely superb with families and young children. Food has been absolutely spot on with plenty of choice for picky eaters. Pool area clean and well maintained, lifeguards ensure sun beds aren't reserved by absent holidaymakers. Kids disco is superb and pool entertainment is on point, loads to do and the hotel backs onto the beach with a private gate and shower. Pool closes at 8 which is perfect for quiet evenings, entertainment starts late but to be expected with the hot weather. Overall highly recommend for families, I've travelled with a 2 and 5 year old and it's been spot on. And yes it's all Spanish but we are in Spain!"
