Hotel Marina

We came here on the off chance and were so glad we did. The reception manager is a lovely lady and really helped me choose the right room and where to park our vehicle. The room, staff and breakfasts were all great. The position is fantastic, on the sea front, with bars and cafes in close proximity

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week this July, it was for a relaxing break by the sea with me and my partner. The hotel was very reasonably priced and included breakfast everyday. I’ll start with the positives, the breakfast was good, so much variety, a different selection of cheese everyday, all seemed fresh and there was something for everybody, it was very much a continental breakfast only offering 3 options for hot food (mini sausages, bacon, along with something else we didn’t try). The hotel is also in the most perfect location, in the city with hundreds of bars and restaurants within a minutes walk yet right opposite the beach perfect for a family holiday or if you don’t like a long walk to anything. We had a side facing room but could just about see the sea. I imagine the front facing rooms get a great view. There were a few basics missing from our stay which made it a little uncomfortable for us. The main one being the aircon not working in our room, it was boiling and trying to get some sleep was a nightmare. The fridge was also very small but big enough for a bottle of water and some beer so we weren’t too bothered. Sadly our balcony was also very small, there wasn’t even a table however this was due to the size of our room as others had s much bigger one (my advice would be to opt for a bigger one if going for longer than a couple of nights. We also didn’t receive a top up on the paper cups in our room which were not reusable, I took some myself off the trolly at one point however they weren’t replaced by cleaners. There was also no bin in the room, only a small bathroom bin in the bathroom so we collected rubbish in a plastic bag which was always disposed of for us by the cleaners who did a very good job of cleaning all the rooms everyday. Another thing to mention is the wifi isn’t great however it wasn’t an issue as we were out and about most of the time. The pool area was big and the pool was lovely with jets and a fountain however it did look a bit shabby, this wasn’t an issue as everything worked. The gym was very small with limited equipment so we didn’t get round to using it. We also went to check out the sauna that wasn’t working sadly. The communication with staff was quite bad, until night 4 we weren’t aware of the bar on the rooftop at night, one night there was a Cuban singer we could here from our rooms, it sounded like a great atmosphere so we went outside to see where it was coming from to find out it was in our hotel and we weren’t told sadly. We also weren’t warned there would be any noise and it boomed through the whole hotel so had we been a family with children this could’ve posed more of an issue. I would ask about any events when visiting for a heads up. Hotel staff seemed friendly enough, they didn’t speak great English nor us Spanish so we didn’t get to chat much. Overall our stay was beautiful, we enjoyed our time in roses thoroughly however we just used our hotel as a base and had we spent much more time in the

One of the oldest if not the oldest hotel in Roses . It has been refurbished , but to an average standard in the rooms . Lovely roof top sun deck and small pool . However the sunbeds are looking shabby and the chrome and glass areas were in need of a good clean and polish . Front facing rooms have a fabulous view of the bay . Hotel is almost on a roundabout so lots of traffic but you don’t hear much with the window a shut . Breakfast is ok . . Nice hotel but not as good as it used to be . Other hotels are catching up and “taking over “ in terms of their offering .

Any Aussies visiting we can only tell you it was one of our nicest stays in our 3 months wandering Spain/France/Italy. Family owned and operated which makes all the difference, everyone treated us like we were part of the family. Only intended staying 1 night that ended up 7. We had room 307 which was spotless with great view down the beach, breakfast good also. Central position, can walk everywhere, we also found a free park below our room. We spent a week here while visiting the Dali sights. The location is excellent. Very central. Near market and bus station. Buffet breakfast is good value. I would definitely go for balcony sea facing on third floor. Cleanliness is good with regular towel changing. If the weather is good there is a rooftop area with swimming pool and loungers. Rooms are basic so don’t expect any luxuries but it’s good value.

My wife and I stopped for an afternoon drink recently , we had an Absolute vodka with sparkling water and a coffee . The price was €10.05 , scandalous for Roses as the same order anywhere else would normally be between €6.50 and €8.30 . Get your act together and don’t be giving Roses a bad name.

Nous venons de passer 4 nuitées dans cet établissement que nous avons choisi par sa proximité avec le bord de mer, et la ville, chambre spacieuse, confortable et d’une propreté irréprochable, la possibilité de mettre la voiture dans un parking en sous-sol avec un accès à la chambre via un ascenseur, au tarif de 12 euros. Le petit déjeuner est de bonne qualité, aucune critique, par contre la formule demi-pension en cette période creuse, c’est limite, Un personnel agréable dans l’ensemble, nous reviendrons.

Un des meilleurs hôtels de Rosas, tant pour sa propreté, son accueil, sa literie, et tous les services proposés. Tout est accessible à pied. Les rues piétonnes, les nombreux restaurants, les glaciers, l’habillement, etc,,, et bien entendu, la plage à 30m Personnel souriant et attentif. Je le recommande, les yeux fermés !!!

Emplacement idéal la plage au pied et les rues commerçantes à 100 mètres. Personnel prévenant et directrice très pro et très attentive à ses clients. En plus un prix raisonnable puisque le petit déjeuner est compris.
