Albergo Etico Roma

This hotel was excellent. We had a personal problem, and the front desk was always attentive to us and helped us solve part of the problem. Breakfast was excellent. It was only one night but definitely if we return to Rome we will stay at this hotel.

An amazing place. Friendliest of staff. Rooms very comfortable. Cleanliness exceptional. Food of highest quality. Easy access to city centre on foot or by bus. We will definitely stay there on any future trips to Rome. The staff were all very helpful and nothing was a problem

What a hotel! For my mum's birthday I went all out and took her to Rome. After I'd booked the flights she was watching TV programmes about the city and saw Albergo Etico and asked if we could stay there. Wanting to make her happy I booked the hotel. It. Was. Fabulous! The staff are amazing and everyone so attentive, willing and kind. Everything was super clean, the room was beautifully laid out, brightly coloured and again, clean! The Limon Summer was our drink of the holiday and the live jazz was fantastic. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice, the second time running back there once we knew it was still open as the food was THAT GOOD! We had an amazing time. The breakfast which is part of the booking was also great. Variety and everything super tasty. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our holiday that extra bit special and big love to them all. I hope to see you again, Sarah

The hotel itself is great - large rooms, a bed which was bigger than expected (their double bed is at least the size of a U.S queen and was one mattress not 2 twins pushed together which I encountered in other hotels in Italy). Upbeat, colorful decor was nice to return to after long day. Breakfast buffet was good, as was dinner the 1 night I ate there; front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Overall ambiance of hotel was nice. Only drawback was location, was a bit of a walk (~35 minutes to Colosseum, slightly closer to heart of historic center) to the main attractions. I normally don't mind walking so thought this would be fine, however, most of these attractions also involve walking so you are essentially on your feet all day, and the distance made it difficult to return to hotel for a break/shower. It was 90 degrees every day I was there despite the fact that it was October, which also contributed to the distance seeming too far. There is a metro stop nearby, which I used once and I suppose I could have used more; cabs are difficult to find and less appealing because of all the traffic. If I had it to do over again, I would probably book something closer to the center, even if it meant paying more or staying in a less nice hotel.

My daughter and I were so very pleased with the kind and informative staff . When we requested a pickup and drop offs to and from the airports . It was arranged and worked perfectly. Not to mention that we had trouble ourselves in setting up for the bullet trains to and from different parts of a Italy, we were helped by a wonderful lady named llaria . She and the other gentlemen helped whenever we needed anything. so very helpful , friendly ,informative and kind. The on-site restaurant was wonderful and friendly delicious and such excellent service . The staff whom cleaned our rooms did amazing service everyday never had to ask . The hotel is in a very convenient area walking to restaurants , metro , and shopping . when ever we go back we will definitely be coming back to this wonderful hotel !!! Thank you to everyone there .

Nice property in a neighborhood with not a lot of walkable options. Cab service to the neighborhood was mediocre. Staff was lovely and helpful and room was nice.

So glad we chose this hotel.The location is so close to all main attractions to walk including colluseuum.It is in a nice safe area of coming back from your at night.The rooms are spacious and what's best if you also love fresh air you can open a window at night and it's safe.Room was spacious and cleaned every day to high standard.The breakfast every morning was perfect.Best all the staff were amazing and always friendly and willing to help.We stayed for two weeks and loved coming back to hotel each night after big day exploring.

Probably one of the nicest Hotel concepts I have stayed at. Excellent hosts and staff!
