Hotel is 4 star at best. Overall a good stay but for us the food is very very overrated and always Luke Warm. Be aware that men have to ware long trousers when having dinner in the hotel and your allocated the same table each night so if your next to a couple of bores either side of you your stuck with them. Live music in the evening was excellent and was probably the best thing about staying here.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kristal Palace in Riva, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. A special shout-out goes to Zane, whose exceptional customer service made a significant impact on our experience. Zane's attention to detail and genuine care for guests is exemplary and greatly appreciated. A particular concern for us when traveling is my wife's severe nut allergy, which can make dining abroad a stressful experience. However, at Kristal Palace, we encountered a level of accommodation and understanding that we have never experienced before. The staff took her allergy very seriously and provided a separate menu for her each day, ensuring her safety and peace of mind. This thoughtful approach allowed us to relax and enjoy our meals without worry, knowing she was in good hands. The food at Kristal Palace is outstanding. Each meal was delicious and carefully prepared, and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. This level of care and consideration for guests with dietary restrictions is rare and highly commendable. One small point to note is the hairdryer provided in the room. It has very low power, so I would advise packing your own if this is important to you. This is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things and did not detract from our overall experience. In summary, our stay at Kristal Palace was exceptional. The combination of a beautiful, clean hotel, fantastic food, and outstanding customer service, particularly in handling food allergies, makes this hotel a standout choice. We highly recommend Kristal Palace to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free stay in Riva. We will definitely be returning!

The best Hotel we have stayed at in Italy. Very smart, very clean and the staff go out of there way to be helpful. The rooms are a great size with everything you need including slippers, bath robe and beach/pool bag. Breakfast on the roof terrace, chilling by the pool during the day and a superb restaurant. The position of the Hotel is perfect, just a short walk to shops and bars and 15/20 minutes stroll to the old town. We will return here as soon as we can and highly recommend it.

Where do I start? After 5 years of not travelling abroad I was really worried about getting this surprise trip right (40th birthday present for my partner) but this trip exceeded any expectations I had! From start to finish it was amazing!! The hotel is situated just perfectly. We enjoyed relaxed walks along the lake and to the old town each day. The staff were just so lovely and friendly, they really couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel is so clean and relaxed. The pool bag with towels and complimentary flip flops was a nice touch! The roof top terrace is just amazing. We enjoyed breakfasts in the sun, relaxed swims in the pool and then chilled and romantic evenings watching the entertainment, all with the most wonderful views in the background. One thing we found really useful was the Trentino app (code available from reception is you ask) this gives you lots of advantages during your stay. For example, the glass lift up to the forte is usually €8 but is free with the app. If you were thinking of booking this hotel.. do it! You won’t be disappointed!

Book it! Wonderful food, fabulous staff, perfect location. There’s always apprehension when choosing where to stay for your hard earned holiday - have no fear about this one. We had the best holiday at Riva, a large part due to the wonderful staff, restaurant cuisine and perfect location of this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely hotel . From the time of arrival all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Excellent team in the restaurant providing fabulous food and top class service. Would like to mention one or two names but that wouldn’t be fair as they were all equally pleasant. Excellent breakfast each morning, and the evening meals were gorgeous. Each evening had a completely different menu with plenty of variety. I wouldn’t normally eat in a hotel at night but full marks to the chef and his team 👏👏👏👏 I enjoyed his food very much . Rooms were fine, cleaned every day and hotel in general spotless. Nice touch with courtesy bikes which I availed of to cycle along the lake . Entertainment at night was also very good in the bar or poolside ( weather permitting) and bar staff very very attentive. Well done all 👏👏👏

Amazing service and attention to detail Superb food and wine with scenery like a postcard Pool bar makes the hotel very special We had room 112 which was an upgrade to the standard provided on arrival Very cool room and way bigger than we have at home we didn’t use the AC and it was fine Probably due a lick of paint but by no means tired Weather got very hot due to heat wave but no where near the temps in the south 15 mins walk to old town and ferry Just lovely

Amazing hotel with amazing staff....we will definitely be going back.Staff were so attentive and the hotel was so well presented and clean. Entertainment at night was very enjoyable with a great barman and waiter

Amazing hotel! Perfect Location. Short Walk from town. Close to ferry port for trips to Limone, Malcesine, Fantastic food and cocktails! His and her Flip flops were a lovely touch. The views are amazing and you never tire of them. Fantastic hotel highly recommend!❤️
