Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa

This was the first time I’ve been to this hotel and I was not disappointed. We picked this hotel purely because you could get a superior beachfront room with a private pool. Well worth the money in my opinion. Being so close the the beach bar made it even better. Food was quite good and seemed to be on a rotational basis at dinner. Hotel is very clean and well managed. One person that made the holiday even better was Jamie Whyte from Guest Relations, who was nothing short of amazing. The guy carries so much knowledge is genuinely one of the nicest guys you could meet and talk too. Anything you need during your stay Jamie is the man to go too. His kindness honesty goes a long way. We can’t wait to book again next year and be back at this amazing hotel.

Me and my husband had a week here. Staff were really nice and friendly. Spoke perfect English as well as numerous other languages. Staff were always happy. Rooms were great, we had a private swim up room. Very spacious and clean. Complex was large, not so great if you have a disability as there are many hills on the complex. Lots of pools, slides, bars, snack bars and ice cream. Food was superb, we had 3 a la carte meals as that was our quota for 7 nights. Honestly say that we have never had nicer meals. Even in the buffet restaurant food was so tasty. The only issue I had was the burgers in the burger bar was cold, but staff dealt with this instantly. Surrounding area there was not much to do walking distance although there are buses outside lobby to take you various places. Pefkos was €20 in taxi, Pefkos is a lovely part of the island. Distance from airport was long. By coach transfer time is 2-2.5 hours. We opted for private transfers we paid €140 return and took 1 hour.

This week was amazing. The Hotel, rooms, swimming pools, drinks and diners where great. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. We all loved it ! Special thanks for our always enthusiastic waiter Samir, who served us a lot of drinks in the evening .

We stayed here for a week 9th-16th June 2024. We had a private beachfront swim up room which honestly was a main reason why we had chosen this resort in the first place. Room was amazing- very spacious and clean, beds comfortable enough- just a shame it was two twin bed pushed together (I know it’s typical but still a shame as a couple) bathroom decent big shower and his and hers separate sinks. Outdoor terrace was amazing!! By far the best part of our holiday! Pool was 1.2m so nice depth and surprisingly big! Sun beds were like actual beds! So thick and comfy- and had a table and chairs outside too. Most of our neighbours had inflatables which you could get from the shop onsite. We got the sun most of the day and pool stayed cool enough. Beach bar was only a few feet away from us which was amazing! Always walked over for drinks and even brought back some food one day. Only slight issue with room was the seaside bar (other one open late) was above us so we did hear chairs and tables being dragged late at night- not too bad though. We asked for a late check out which they were able to do for €10 per hour however we got to keep our room so it was worth every penny. They even rang the room to tell us. We arrived late at night, transfer was only 1 1/2 hours coming and we were taken to our room in golf buggy, there was 2 bananas, 2 ham and cheese wraps, bottle of wine and 6 bottles of water left in room which was a nice touch. The overall resort is huge! By far the biggest I’ve ever stayed in- honestly it’s like a town and I don’t think we saw it all! On the first day we had a walk up to the activity bit (quite a steep climb! Defo wouldn’t like to do that everyday 🙈) seemed big and nice for kids- only downside up there was that we got a chicken gyros that was inedible… didn’t resemble a gyros in the slightest- was just a tiny bit of flatbread, few chips, warm onion and tomato and undercooked chicken! The pool areas all looked clean and large enough- we never actually went to any of them with having a pool in our room. I didn’t see it said anywhere on any other reviews however there is a road going through the resort which I was unaware of. For us coming from the beach up to the main restaurant we had to cross it everyday and we always had to wait- would be very wary if travelling with young children. This is where the bus comes from to lindos. As well as other taxis, cars and busses. Food- the breakfast was okay, nothing amazing but nothing to complain about either. Always the same thing however there was a massive choice so couldn’t differ much. Pancakes were lovely and made fresh- there was also a continental meat section and sweet section. Of course the normal toast, cereal, hot stuff, fruit and yoghurt. For lunch we usually went up to the main restaurant as I’m a picky eater and found there to be more choice and could make up own salad rather that having a pre made one for beach bar. Beach bar food was okay but a little inconsist

First shout out to Alex barman in main bar. This guy is amazing thank you Alex you were brilliant remembering all our favourite drinks. Food- great there is plenty to eat something for everyone even fussy eaters Mosquito s - out of the 15 in our party 50% got bit some nastier than others 50% no bites at all . Rooms - ok little dated but clean - cleaners slight issue kept forgetting to leave clean towels- took used ones but did not leave clean ones . Got a note to report to client services (bit like being at school ) responded to order to be told nothing serious just thank you for the review I had given and there would be a gift when I checked out. Guess what NO GIFT on checkout Overall lovely holiday Not 5 star but would give it 4 stars

Just returned from a fantastic 10 nights at the Lindos Imperial Hotel and Spa. A great hotel which gave me and my family a special holiday, staying in a deluxe double room with swim up pool and garden view (Room 5009). Firstly, the hotel and room. The lobby and buildings are in great shape and look brilliant set against the hillside. It’s really easy to navigate around, well signposted for everything you might need. The grounds are kept really well however are looking tired in some places (some paths giving way around the activity pool). We had a swim up room and it was well worth the money. We had a private pool in block 5 as opposed to the shared pools along from us. The pools got sun light from the beginning of the day, all the way through to late afternoon. It was great to have some family time in our own pool on the morning before moving up to the nearby activity pool on the afternoons. The room was nice and modern with a good amount of space for the three of us. Pools a plenty, the hotel boasting ~7 separate pools! We spent all our time at the activity pool as it was the most lively and best for kids with the variety of slides. The area was always kept very clean and there were always sun beds available all day round (none of this getting up early to secure a sun bed malarkey)! Food and drink - the a la carte restaurants save it here, as the buffet is one of the reasons why this is only a 4 star review and not a 5 star. We did the Steakhouse, Seafood Restaurant, the Greek and the Mexican. Seafood Restaurant was AMAZING! Steakhouse was also superb! The Mexican was our third favourite, offering a great selection of dishes but unfortunately we were a little let down by the Greek, despite its waterside table setting. The food just wasn’t our cup of tea. We aren’t fussy eaters at all, but the buffets just didn’t hit the spot. Very repetitive each day, despite “themed nights”. The themes didn’t really differ compared to other hotels we have stayed at and this was a shame. Don’t get me wrong - some of the food was nice, but the variety and number of options just wasn’t great. Breakfast was however solid - offering everything you could want. Just a shame about lunch and dinner. Drinks wise - some of the best choices and quality I’ve experienced from a hotel - really, really good and always something new to try. The daily cocktails were a great idea!! Some ******* which again mean this only gets a 4/5 - we had a couple of times where we were not replenished with shower towels which meant a couple of trips to reception to report (didn’t know the phone number to ring down at the time). Also needed a bed changing one evening as our little one got out of the pool and soaked it. Left for the evening and came back to it still not having been done. Another trip to reception! But, I want to finish this review on a huge high because we would 100% return here compared to other hotels where we gave 5/5 reviews (I know that sounds a bit confusing). Th

Well since coming back to this hotel, my view change completely, I was not happy with the stay in few days in this hotel. A member of staff did help out. But I get back and I had to go to the doctor and found out I had a bed bug infection what a great end to a holiday. I thought I would be nice about this hotel but after this hell no. I'm the one who is stuffing won't be returning to Greece again and I won't be returning to the hotel again. But the kids area was good for the kids. Such ashame it's on a very steep hill to get to.

Overall a great resort. We travelled as a family and really enjoyed our stay. We had a beachfront private pool room and it's well worth the cost. The views are amazing and it great to have the pool and loungers connected to the room. (Tip you need to request a parasol which we didn't know until a couple of days in). We were having an early celebration of our wedding anniversary and they decorated our room beautifully and left us a cake, fruit basket and drinks. A really lovely touch. The room service was a bit inconsistent with tea and coffee not being replaced or less towels some days than others but no big problem though, all easily rectified. The staff are good, mostly service with a smile and guest services are brilliant Konstantinos is an absolute credit to the company. There are numerous pools and and restaurants which are super clean and inviting. If you want to use the al a carte.dinners, you need to book as soon as you arrive however we were disappointed with the food in those as vegetarians so wouldn't book them if we stayed again. The lunch options around the resort were good though including salads and fruit. We used the beach bar most days which was ideal. The food does get a bit repetitive but I don't think that can be easily remedied at an all inclusive resort. We don't drink alcohol so would have liked more options for non-alcoholic drinks and cold coffee varieties but the bar staff were happy to make alternatives if asked to. We don't usually get involved with the entertainment but went to the astronomy night and it was brilliant, Stratos Koufos was very knowledgeable and the telescopes were brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed his event and highly recommended it. There was a heat wave while we were there so didn't use the sports facilities. I think the best thing about the place is the views which are utterly stunning and worth coming back for time and time again. We went to Lindos a few times, took the bus there €3 each and then a taxi back €25. It's around 15 minutes to get there. We also did an organised tour to Rhodes which takes about 90 on the coach which we'd do again but on our own next time. It's a lovely hotel, lux feel and you can see they take pride in their hotel, food and customer service. We will be returning and bringing the wider family with us next time.

We stayed here for a week in June as a family of 7 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. We had a pleasant stay and plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy. Myself and my husband stayed in a private pool room and had a few issues. The pool tiles were loose and could be sharp. The pool was quite deep with only 2 steps in/out of the pool which made it quite difficult to get in and out of. Something to keep in mind when choosing a private pool room, we were in block 4. Our air con was also very poor, the outside temperature at night was cooler than our room most of the time. The complex is very large and very steep. We struggled with a push chair and the lifts didn't always work. This is not a wheelchair friendly complex. The hotel is also in need of maintenance repairs, every where you looked there was something that needed repairing. The main buffet food was enjoyable and the restaurant was kept very clean. I queued for 40 minutes trying to book the restaurants. You get max 3 reservations per stay but they get booked quickly. We managed to book steak, Greek and Asian. The steak restaurant was awful, we had a poor experience which was a shame. The reservation wasn't in the system properly so our confirmation paper said 8 people plus a baby chair. It was only booked for 2 people in the system. Luckily we were seated and it was sorted. However one main didn't arrive and it took over an hour to correct. We understood the meat had to be cooked but the same meal was being sent out to other tables and we had to chase the staff multiple times to correct it. The Asian restaurant was lovely, we really enjoyed the meal here. Overall the staff were friendly and the hotel is clean.
