Kassandra Hotel

L'alloggio anche se spartano era abbastanza grande con tutti i confort, per noi era un punto d'appoggio, qualche problema con l'aria condizionata. L'unica lamentela da fare è che per via della chiusura della piscina ore 19.00, non siamo riusciti a fare neanche un bagno.

We stayed at Kassandra for 14 days. Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, clean restaurants, clean swimming pools, and best of all, very nice, helpful and pleasant staff. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..❤️😊

Pros - The food in restaurant was lovely & staff friendly. Swimming pools were grand but could do with regular cleaning. It had entertainment a few nights a week & it was near beach/restaurants Cons - The blonde lady at reception was extremely rude. The apartment was filthy, I have no problem with basic but I can’t deal with filthy even though they have a sign to say leave room the way we got it. I definitely left room cleaner after bleaching it a few times. If I could have went home straight away I would have. There was a drawer full of cigarette butts, mouldy shower curtain, a shower in bath that wasn’t great,a kitchen that was Unusable & unstable, filthy sinks, hairs on all floors, headboards from 1960s that need updating badly, key & safe system was laughable. The bed sheets weren’t changed for 2 weeks in very hot weather even though we asked, the beds were like sleeping on wooden boards,no brush in room for floors so that was only done twice because I asked for it to be done. Overall It wasn’t the best experience

Very out dated and rundown rooms, every tap dripping and covered in scale, kitchen cupboards rotten and doors hanging off, bedding stained and towel had holes in them, but the beds were comfy. you cannot see past your knees in the pool either!! The food in the restaurant was very good and the singer was also no too bad. 9 euros a day for the air con which there was only a unit in the bedroom, some rooms only had a unit in the kitchen area, and it didn't work properly. You can hire pool towels for a 10euros deposit. Beach and sea front is about a 10 minute walk away and there is a good supermarket across the road. We drove to the old town and went on a boat trip to Symi- beautiful! Also found a nice hotel in Faliraki with free use of sunbeds and pool right next to the beach and you could see your feet in this pool and the sea!!

The hotel was very nice. The staff was kind and helpful, although a little slow sometimes when asked for help for extra things. But with everything else that heavily weighs up for it. The restaurant was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant with delicious food. And that greek platter, wow. And just the kindest restaurant chief. Their greek night was so much fun! THE BEST THING ABOUT THE HOTEL: Their musician, Savvas Vlamos. He is SO talented and it is amazing that he is self-taught. He sings and plays his instruments amazingly and he is so kind and helpful. We sang karaoke with him one night and it was one of the best nights of the vacation. Another night he took our request and sang our favorite song, and his cover was mind-blowing! He also helped make sure that we got to see Filerimos! A+++

Very basic hotel, but cheap and cheerful. Very friendly staff and lovely food. The room was kept tidy when required. Only downside to the room is lack of frying pan and cooking utensils and you pay extra for aircon. This should be standard with the room. Ideal location for shops, pubs, restaurants and the beach. Unfortunately there were young adults running up and down the halls at night and screaming. So had no sleep for the time we was there. Due to this we wouldn't come here again. Bar was very loud up until 1am (was in a room above it) Entertainment wasn't very good either. Like I said it was cheap and overall OK. Definitely wouldn't be suitable for families with young kids.
