A perfect location for our week in Rhodes. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We cannot fault a single thing. We stayed as bed and breakfast guests and the choice at breakfast time every day was vast and always fresh and beautifully presented. We were lucky enough to enjoy the last of the live music and Greek night before the end of the season and both evenings were fantastic. We loved the family feel at this family run hotel and the extra care given to ensure all guests had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel is close to the beach and there is a nice selection of local restaurants which we were able to walk out and enjoy in the evenings. The Greek night on our last night was well organised and the selection of food at the buffet was delicious and closely monitored and replenished as needed by the attentive staff. One in particular stood out to us as always going the extra mile and giving each guest her time and attention and that was Elenor who worked as a waitress in the evenings. A fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

we've just come back from a fabulous holiday at Matoula beach hotel....it was our first time in Rhodes and we all loved it.... the hotel has a nice pool in lovely grounds...lots of space & greenery with a good pool bar and a good selection for lunch staff were all so friendly & helpful especially Elena who went out of her way to advise and serve us always with a lovely smile too the hotel is very clean and very comfortable and we liked the position very near Rhodes town and near a pretty shingle beach ....also has a few restaurants nearby we went to rosmarie one evening for nice cocktails and atmosphere the week flew by and we wished we had longer but definitely one to return to hopefully soon ...oh and the icing on the cake ..the sun shone every day thank you all at matoula beach for a great stay

We had the most wonderful 14 night stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for a quiet & relaxing get away. The staff are friendly & so helpful. The hotel is kept spotless & our room was cleaned daily by a wonderful lady called Esmerelda, what a gem she is. The food is so good & plentiful. No problem getting a sunbed at the pool, plenty to choose from & room for everyone. Can highly recommend this hotel, the service we received. from the moment we arrived at the reception to when we checked out, was lovely.

This hotel was everything I wanted from a vacation. Super friendly staff, good food and clean everywhere. A quiet place with everything you need nearby without traffic jams. I didn't face any problems during my vacation. The sound of airplanes didn't bother me, I slept well with earplugs in my ears. I will definitely come here again!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. We returned last week and are missing it already. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the staff are both friendly and efficient. The breakfast is of a good quality with plenty of choice and is always fresh The pool area is very chilled and the drinks and food at the pool bar are of a good quality. If a little pricier than nearby places. The area is our only slight negative. It is very quiet with only a handful of bars and restaurants. It is a 30 minute walk or short taxi ride to an area with far more to offer. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matoula beach and would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

Had a wonderful 10 days at this idyllic hotel. It is quite small which adds to its charm and everything seems so calm and peaceful. There is no rush for breakfast, no rush for sun beds - there are always beds free all day, and the restaurant and bar are always open. What really impressed us was how clean the whole hotel is and how friendly and welcoming the staff are. If you want a relaxing holiday I would recommend this one!

Lovely relaxing hotel with plenty of space around the pool. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even bringing drinks to your sunbed if required. On the subject of drinks, the cocktails were excellent, the Negroni nearly knocked me out! The ladies were particularly fond of the pina coladas. The rooms were clean and tidy if a little dated, could do with a makeover. We were b&b, and the breakfasts were adequate. Half board was available, but the food didn’t look too good, so for us b&b was the right choice. Not quite sure if I would class this hotel as a 4*, possibly just scraped it & therefore able to charge €7 per night tax instead of €3 per night as a 3*.

Hotel very clean , breakfast as expected in Greece basic but does the job . Staff very friendly , beds comfy . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Spent our days between the pool and paradise beach ( 10 min walk away ) we knew when we booked the hotel was in a quiet area but it is very remote , 3 restaurants and 2 bars within 5 min walk anything else is a 30 minute walk along a busy main road at a pretty steady pace , buses were very irregular and taxis 12euro each way . Must do’s are Rhodes town and symi . Couple of recommendations are better hairdryers ( no power ) and better bar prices 5.3 euros for a beer we were paying 3.70 in town soon adds up . We had a great holiday in a really lovely hotel but would not return simply due to the location of the hotel .
