The hotel’s location was very nice, near to everywhere. But, the water is a bit smelly.

Great room with a view, clean and spacious. Capsule coffee machine was a bonus. Nice bathroom also.

The location of the hotel is great. There is a great bar downstairs that supposedly has live music every night. The hotel is very safe, a password is required to enter at night. The hotel staff are nice and the rooms are clean.

The room was huge but the shower was broken. You physically had to pull up on the shower knob during the entire shower or else the water turned off completely. Missing light bulbs in two lamps and also light in shower was out of the ceiling and just hanging down by a wire. Hot tub was dirty so didn’t get to use that amenity. Great location though and worth the money if you need a place to stay close to everything.

Excellent place to stay. Clean and comfy. Very central and close city attractions. Loved my stay at Reykjavík ❤️
Only cons: Could do with hotel staff members to assist with checking in the lobby and perhaps light room service? Otherwise not much to complain about

The view was amazing and having all the amenities (stove, fridge, hot tub) and being so close to the night life convinced us to cancel another hotel we had booked and book another night here instead!

Amazing location, limited parking. Above a live music bar, but did not hear it too loud, but be aware if you're sensitive to sound.

Best location ever. Right in the middle of the main street of the old town surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants.

Iliked the room, and found the neighborhood very enjoyable in every way. My one problem was the ramp that joined one part of the building with another. I tripoed late in the evening because there was no warning or lighting of the ramp. I’m 80 and fell up at the ramp - the ramp blended too well with the carpeting. However, 2 hotel guests helped me up very sweetly and I was able to continue my visit.

Absolutely fantastic couldn't fault the place, great location, completely spotless, warm and cosy, great views even saw the northern lights from our balcony.
Only down side was someone entered our room whilst we were inside using the codes which i guess never change

The hotel is located on the main shopping street. Super convenient. Easy to walk anywhere you want to check out.
The room is nice and neat. The deco actually looks better than the photos.
I would have given 5 stars if not for the noise we heard on the second (the last) night staying there. The band in the next pub was very loud. And it didn't stop playing until nearly 6 in the morning. Our room seems to be right on top of the pub without much sound proof at all. We didn't sleep well much.
