"I found the room to be old. Old furniture painted bricks, small ensuite bathroom with no power points inside the power points were located outside the bathroom area where the tea and coffee facilities were there was literally not even a metre between the end of the bed and the toilet door. When sitting on the toilet my elbow was pushed against the glass of the shower cubicle and the shoulder on my other side was pushed against the toilet roll. Very small area to do your business. The bathroom sink was very small and inconveniently placed. The showerhead was a massage head that shot in every direction but where I wanted it I thought that the massage head was half on so I tried to turn it to get a nice stream only to find that the poor stream or off with my only choices I have stayed in better places for the same amount of money. If I had no choice to get a bed for the night I would rebook with this one but if I’ve got a choice to go somewhere else, I will go. "

"Amazing park!!!! We stayed on an ensuite powered site. Ensuite very clean. Site large , room for van and car. This park has it all. Multiple camp kitchens and laundry’s. Indoor and out door cinemas. Spa, pool and splash zone. Jumping pillow, bike and pedal cart hire. The list goes on and on. With river frontage there is room for picnics and fishing. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. We will be back."

"Booked a cabin, not noticing that it was a non ensuite….my fault, I didn’t realise cabins came without a bathroom…shared bathroom facilities very clean, but the shower itself left a lot to be desired sitting a good foot above my head with no way to adjust it. Cabins, again very clean but extremely basic, to the point there is no beside light, so you need to get up and find the door light. They could also do with a basic mirror in the cabin…there’s just nothing. For an extra $10 I could have been over the road in the pub….wont stay there again. Another friend had no hot water…but that will be her review."

"The location and apartment was absolutely spot on with the famous art deco Renmark Hotel a 1 minute walk and the lovely riverside esplanade right there. Bed was brilliant, bathroom with sneaky European laundry, complete with washer, dryer and detergent was brilliant. The all important coffee machine or satchet options were available. A not so small touch of proper milk instead of 2 small UHT options and a snack option as well as the usual biscuit in a bag would have elevated the experience to wow."

"0 stars if I could. I would never have booked this accommodation had the host disclosed the known situation beside the houseboat. On arrival, I discovered an established homeless encampment approximately five metres from the houseboat. This was not a temporary camper passing through. The host later acknowledged that she was already aware of the encampment and had been trying to have police and council assist with removing the person. That is the central issue: this was a known, ongoing circumstance immediately beside the accommodation and it was not disclosed before I travelled there or checked in. I had booked the accommodation for two people, as I routinely do when travelling alone as a personal safety precaution. I intentionally avoid widely disclosing that I am travelling solo. However, when I arrived and began carrying my belongings onto the houseboat, the man in the nearby encampment appeared to notice that I was there alone, which significantly increased my concern about remaining at the property. I did not feel safe staying there and left within approximately one hour. I did not stay a single night. Despite this, I have been refused a refund and have effectively been forced to pay for a three-night stay that I did not use because of a known circumstance that should, in my view, have been disclosed before I arrived. The host chose to call me directly rather than communicate through the Airbnb message platform. During that phone call she confirmed that the encampment was already a known issue and that she had been trying to get police and council involved. As a result, those important admissions were not recorded in the Airbnb message thread. What I found particularly disappointing was the way my concern was treated. When I explained that I did not feel safe, the host made a remark to the effect of asking where I thought I would stay instead because “he has legs” and could simply be at the next place. I found that dismissive and mocking of a genuine safety concern. I understand that the host may not control public land. That is not the point. The issue is that the host knew about the situation before my arrival and I was not given the opportunity to make an informed decision about whether I was comfortable staying there. To add to the frustration, the host also placed a bond authorisation/charge on my credit card, which is still showing as pending approximately one week after I left the accommodation. Had the situation been disclosed honestly before check-in, I would have booked elsewhere and avoided the entire experience. I would give zero stars if the platform allowed it. I left without spending a single night there, yet I have still been left substantially out of pocket. I consider the non-disclosure and subsequent handling of my complaint completely unacceptable. The host did offer alternative accommodation being a nearby boat, however it was still in the general vicinity of the man camped. They also offered a villa, but th"
