The Prince of Wales

Really Grim. Felt so unsafe and so I welcomed I left and went else where. Staff really unwelcoming and uninterested. Booked a double room with private bathroom - found I was sharing a dirty wc and shower with a door that did not shut!! Door at rear of property left unlocked and insecure onto street - felt very very vulnerable. Facilities poor and very dated. Travelodge a much better and safe option.

I’m not sure where to start. It’s not clean for a start. Dirty walls and doors. Used tissues on the floor. Cracked and marked mirrors. Lights that don’t work. No shower mat. Toilet door that doesn’t close. Cobwebs and dead spiders. The room number on the door is even broken. A real slum !

It was comfy, the staff were friendly, it was a good location for Gatwick Airport and I honestly can't knock it too much. The train was noisy, but that was my fault for not doing my research, it did stop late into the night so it didn't disrupt too much.

La recepción es el bar que está justo debajo de las habitaciones. Una chica nos acompañó a la parte trasera del bar por donde se entraba que olía fatal a pis. Por los pasillos hay cosas apiladas en cada esquina (cajas, juguetes, muebles). La habitación estaba sucia y el baño sin limpiar. Nos dejaron una toalla por habitación cuando estábamos 4 personas y al pedirles alguna más nos dicen que van a hacer todo lo posible pero que no nos prometen nada, solo consiguieron una más. Nos cobraron 400€ por las dos noches. Lamentable, cero recomendable y obviamente para no volver.
