Lovely stay at the Crowne plaza, breakfast was quite busy and things weren’t re stocked which wasn’t great but still a lovely place to stay Also access to the spa and pool etc which was great Just make sure you watch the kiddie time as that can upset your relaxation time

Good, standard hotel but needs an update. Positives, good location (for Reading) and stunning Thames river parks on doorstep. Excellent gym. Breakfast good but limited and doesn’t cater for international or healthy options such as salads, greens etc. Rooms ok, but old feeling and some surfaces dusty on arrival, tv is old terrestrial, no streaming. Service, they seemed to not figure out I had paid for breakfast In advance and the problem recurred 5 days in a row until eventually I had to send my booking details to proof it, messy and either the fault of trip.com or IHG. Parking should be free for hotel guests.

Amazing hotel in the perfect spot, about 10 minutes walk to Reading. Breakfast fab and the bar for a drink in the evening was really fab, ie seating and comfort to relax.

Service is good View is river view Car park , u need to pay for it n it is not free. Not including breakfast Next to Thames River, it is the closest way to join the cruise. Food is excellent Location is in the town and middle.

Everything about the hotel was good. It was an added bonus to have a fridge in our bedroom. The buffet breakfast was very good, there was a great variety of breakfast items available. I would like to book another stay at this hotel and other Crown plaza hotels.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was of good quality and variety of food. The view to the river is amazing. Pool was big enough. The downside is that the locker room needs guest to bring their own padlocks which is a bit uncomfortable.

Lianna on Reception desk was simply a star so helpful professional and friendly as was everyone on reception desk. The Spa was lovely and the treatments were divine Sarh is amazing. Unfortunately The restaurant staff let the hotel side down Very embarrassing unprofessional and quite frankly what service. Was left waiting to be served and for our drinks to come. They didn't tend to ther tables people came in waited yo be served took so long they left. One server before our food has come had the check to ask us yo pay the bill as her shift was finishing and would be easier for her to do it now she hadn't even been serving us. When our food finally came mine the supreme chin was dry the potatoes were hard overdone My friend had the tuna which was served well done she wasnt asked how she'd like it cooked she also asked for chips on the side which didn't come with her main she had almost finished meal by the time chips finally came out Very disappointing However the change-over staff they were lovely it's a shame we didn't get served by them.
