Property is located close to the temple, hotel was clean, food was good, staff was courteous; overall nice experience

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and trust me, we didn't feel secure nor liked. 1st the General Manager is a disobedient, heartless, money minded, un professional, un cultured, un civilized and an illiterate *** inside this hotel. He thinks he is always right and all the guests have to obey his command, eat according to his way and even if you don't like the room, you have to sleep in his allotted rooms, he will not give you a second choice. The Deluxe rooms are just normal rooms, the one deluxe room ground floor ( Room No 116) where I stayed was with a broken window handle, cannot be closed and late midnight someone tried to open the window but I woke up and switched on the lights, we didn't't feel safe as I was with my 8 years son & wife. For every woman's beauty lies in a mirror but in this room 1 mirror was totally dark and the other one was with black patches, not visible. The toilet was too small, the curtains were torn, unclean bed sheets & towels, the toilet door cannot be locked from outside, broken tiles inside the toilet. However, after complaining, they changed my room ( Room No 114) again with the same issue in the new room, the AC was not working, with unpainted & bubbles coming out from the wall, you can see only Tamil channels on their TV. Breakfast: It's better to eat outside rather than having their tasteless complimentary breakfast, no respect for North, East and West tourists. You can find a so called Paratha but without sabjee or gravy, you can find only plain dosa but not masala dosa, all the items which were served were not my cup of tea. Language problem: No staff members could understand our national language nor English, I am afraid what circumstances happens with the international tourists. A hotel runs and gets good reviews only for the front faces of the hotel but when the General Manager is a Cruck, the hotel cannot get good reviews, this hotel needs rectification & repairs immediately. For the HOTEL OWNERS: The hotel & business partners of this hotel should immediately terminate & kick out this present General Manager and appoint a new professional to enhance their hotel. Over priced rooms with no facility. Has an an ala cart menu, but no services. Rooms are not clean and staffs are not trained. I could see boys who are definitely not 18 working as staff here,

It is near the temple, staff are very friendly. Very nice sea view balcony room. Food in the attached restaurant is very good.

I had booked a standard room at hotel Fortune at Rameswaram for checkin at 20th October and checkout on 21st. However when I checked in at hotel Fortune, I found the standard room was located at the backside of the hotel which was dark , I was not expecting this type of room for my vacation. however I was provided with only two option , the booking was non-refundable and can only be upgraded at an additional cost.I was not willing to to pay extra cost as the room cost for deluxe AC at hotel. I had paid for booking a standard room at the same hotel. first the charges for standard room was higher than deluxe AC room , secondly during booking it was not mentioned in the portal that the standard rooms are located at the dark backside of the hotel , actually spoiled my vacation. Additionally for changing the room I had to pay extra, more than cost of staying at a 4 star hotel.

Front desk staff are very rude in behaviour. Totally disrespectful towards the guest. Even room service staffs doesn’t understand anything. Room balcony doors are hard to open. Worst experience staying there especially because of the hotel staff they dont know to respect guest n tourist

Location of the property is so good. Can enjoy the sunrise, beautiful beach, proximity to temple. However the maintenance of beach environment (not with hotel) is a big factor.

The hotel was ok but the one of the manager behaviour was not acceptable but overall it is a good stay accept the manager rude behaviour

Waste of money, rooms are not clean and food is worst. Staff is not responsive. 1 star is also more for this hotel.
