I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Mahendra, Raipur. We had booked an Executive Room for two colleagues with separate beds, but upon arrival, we found that they had already allotted the room to someone else. When we questioned them, their only response was that we could cancel the booking if we wanted — hardly the professionalism you expect.
Reluctantly, we took the available room. However, the problems didn't end there. The smart card lock was missing, and the manual key was faulty, constantly getting stuck and making it very difficult to use the door properly.
The bathroom was another disaster — the shower diverter was malfunctioning and water was leaking badly. They sent a repair person who simply said the issue couldn’t be fixed and suggested changing rooms. But with no other rooms available, we were forced to manage somehow.
The call service response was very poor too — most of the time, no one even answered the phone.
Overall, booking through MakeMyTrip and staying at this property turned out to be extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Hotel Mahendra to anyone expecting basic professionalism, maintenance, or customer service.
