Ulasan Pik Palace, Shahdag, Autograph Collection

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever visited in Azerbaijan. It’s a modern scam hotel. The food is terrible and ridiculously expensive compared to other five-star hotels. I arrived on time but couldn’t check in because the room wasn’t ready—I waited more than an hour to finally get into my room. If you choose this hotel, bring your own food. Not only is the food overpriced, but it’s also neither fresh nor tasty. Additionally, the room wasn’t warm enough because the heating system is inadequate. If you want to dine at good nearby restaurants, you’ll have to drive for 40 minutes, which is insane. Last day wanted to try burger rather than barbecue, and it was terrible taste as well.

The hotel is great 5 star. All the amenities and service you would expect from Marriott, however, some issues like the closeness to ski activities compared to shahdag hotel and spa and the snow cannon noise was very annoying outside the hotel, when I requested the hotel they said they were not able to do anything. Also there is issue of room Ac. It does not work and the room becomes very hot due to the heating, you can open the window but the noise from snow cannon is very bad

We tried their Italian restaurant Terraza and it was delicious. We’re all vegetarians and good to see they had good veg options and preparations & staff was very friendly too. Especially, Bahar who served us. We’re quite impressed with her English and understanding.

Very nice hotel with a fabulous view on the ski slopes. The rooms are super spacious and connecting rooms are amazing for family with kids. The ski store right below has easy access to rent the skis and hit the slopes. You will need to book all plus instructor ahead of time. We didn’t book the instructor ahead of time, therefore we didn’t have an instructor for us. The breakfast is not that great with limited options. They could do better with breakfast. Also, would prefer if hotel enforces that people don’t come eat breakfast with pijama and hotel slippers but maybe this can’t be enforced. The restaurant for dinner Alpine doesn’t have the best food therefore you could go to scalini just around the corner but you will need to book earlier as well . I want to give high five and 5 stars to Eldin? A member of reception team who was very helpful to us when checking in and made sure to accommodate us with the best room/view.

We stayed at Pik Palace for one night but wished we had more time. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was impressive. The hotel’s location is perfect—just a short distance from the ski slopes and roller coaster. A special thanks to Elchim from operations, who was incredibly helpful and courteous. Highly recommend this place.
