The view, the service, clean accommodations, things to do, worry free, absolute relaxation. View of the ocean from my cabin. Wood burning fireplace on those cool nights made things extra cozy. I loved how housekeeping had me all stocked up for my three days stay. There was no getting up to let housekeeping in, they didn't bother you at all. And if you needed something it was a quick phone call. Cabins may be rustic, I mean they've been there a long time. But very clean and cozy, absolutely. I couldn't have chosen a better place for some much needed R&R. Having the pool and Hottub to yourself for over an hour was also a bonus.

We stayed in one of the new ‘tree houses’. Very private with an incredible view of the sunrise over the ocean.Perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony. Beautiful location for photos. Room service was prompt and quality of food was excellent. We had a Reiki and massage by Dorothea. Other reviewers mentioned she’s like an angel. We totally agree! All staff were super friendly and very accommodating. They made our wedding day supper very special. Loved the bunnies! Will definitely be returning.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the South Shore for business, with a dinner engagement in Liverpool. Choosing to stay at White Point Resort was a no-brainer, particularly to experience one of their newly introduced Ocean Front Tree Houses. Despite my late arrival, the warmth of Heidi's welcome at the front desk ensuring the check-in process was easy, and Heidi's assurance of live music in the lounge every evening was an a great option. However, the allure of the tree house made it impossible to leave. A short walk from the parking area brought me to my accommodation, a beautifully crafted space blending in seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The attention to detail in the design and amenities was impeccable, from the high-quality linens and lighting to the efficient heat pump and extra panel heater for chilly nights. The resort didn't skimp on modern conveniences either. The selection of TV channels, the reliability of the Wi-Fi, and the abundance of power outlets made my stay both comfortable and connected. A peaceful night's sleep was achieved, thanks in part to the tranquil setting and the sounds of the ocean. Waking up to a stunning sunrise, I savored a freshly brewed coffee before heading for breakfast. The Eggs Benedict, served with soft poached eggs on a hot plate, accompanied by homemade bread and preserves, was flawless. For those traveling on business to South Shore Nova Scotia or simply seeking a unique getaway, I highly recommend the tree houses at White Point Resort. I will be back. Thank you to all staff.

Hubby and i spent from March 17th to 19th, early bday getaway. Had booked the Ocean View Treehouse. We arrived around 330, weather was terrible, rain and windy. Went to check in, the gentleman that waited on me, sorry cant remember his name, i know he was tall and wore glasses. He was super friendly and very helpful. Told him my.visa got flagged and asked him if i could pay the rest with my debit, said when i check out i could pay balance with that card. Gave me a map, and showed me where we were staying, and even offered to have our luggage carried to our place. The Treehouse was awesome, everything was there that u could possibly want. Was not wanting for anything. Had a beautiful view of the ocean. The chitery board and 2 cans of tropical fizz were waiting for us. That was nice to have upon arrival. We had the package, dinners and breakfasts were included, meals were great, and the wait staff were great. Used the pool and the hot tub, felt great. I highly recommend anyone to stay here, u will be very well taken care of, staff super friendly, and the places u stay in are top notch.

Highly recommend! The service, food and live entertainment never disappointed. The view and ambiance are second to none. It felt like home 💝 We will definitely return! Shout out to Abby in Recreation... Shermin for keeping our brains sharp and William for brightening our days at breakfast. But truly, EVERYONE we dealt with was incredibly kind and welcoming!

Just returned this afternoon from 2 nights in cabin#19 at White Point Resort. We had a certificate from 2009 but was told in 2010 it would never expire. We did try to use this a few times but a fire and Covid got in the way. This was all explained when stay was booked on phone with WP staff. Upon arrival at WP the staff brought in the manager to speak with us. The Manager said this certificate expired years ago and was no good. I explained being told in 2010 it would never expire and the lady who booked us said she would find confirmation before we arrived. The manager went on to explain he had no way of knowing if this was a forgery and could not verify this because everything had burnt in the fire. I replied would the certificate not be taken from us if used. Fortunately a staff member( Jenn 😃) kept looking in system while manager present. Jenn was able to find proof in the computer system. This set a bad start to our weekend to celebrate a birthday. Never been accused of committing forgery before. Our cabin was very cold when we arrived. Room was 10 degrees . Thought a staff member may turn up the heat before guests arrived. Not a comfortable room to watch tv because of position of sofa. Neck has to be turned to watch tv. One chair, no ottoman. Did like hearing the ocean pounding while going off to sleep in a very firm not so comfortable bed. Our supper that night was terrible! I did make a reservation weeks before our stay for a table by the window which was not ready for us. I don’t think there was a table reserved for us. Appetizer $20 for 3 scallops and lettuce. Surf and turf $54 each ….overcooked tough lobster, no flavour dry steak, dry mashed potatoes, carrots cold and not cooked. . My husband never did get his drink he ordered, no refill offered for water. The only good thing was sticky toffee pudding. Crazy expensive bill $167.90 for a very terrible meal. So very disappointed especially for a celebratory supper. Breakfast the next morning ok. Staff doesn’t hear your requests. Had to get up and ask again for jam and ketchup. Had to ask for coffee refill. Lunch we asked for take out because didn’t want to deal with dining room. Supper …appetizer a bowl of seafood chowder consisted of 3 muscles, 1 scallop and 5 or 6 pieces of potato in creamy sauce. This did taste good but no real substance for $18 ! Again very expensive and disappointing. Hamburger and fries ok but small portion for price of $22. Chicken Churchill ok but way too much tomato sauce $28. Again everything below average for a high price. Would not recommend eating here for poor quality food and an expensive price.

My Wife and I drove from Ontario. spent 1 night in Saint John NB and did the fairy to Digby. All highways we drove in Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova scotia all better than eastern Ontario roads. Christmas holiday at the Resort. the 3 night Christmas 3 dinners 3 breakfasts stayed in lakeside retreat. well worth the trip. Staff was great, food at lodge great also. no issues with the room great view clean great bed. I would love to go back in summer.

Awesome staff, great food!! Christmas Eve, Christmas day🎄 and New Years Eve...food was AMAZING! staff were on the ball. Kim, Stan, Heidi-front desk. Olivia, Jenica-Main dining &lounge (Matthew, Heidi & Bryne)staff too! Thanks ! The dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious!! All food done perfectly. Everytime we go, they never disappoint, whether it's dining room, lounge, food, rooms or staff. You feel like "family" like a 2nd home.

We stay every December in cabin 602 with my family as a pre-Christmas and Birthday getaway. This is our 6th year. The cabin is overall well appointed but lacks some basic kitchen stuff - oven mitts. Overall our stays are just great - kids love the pool, games room etc. BUT the food consistently every single year never fails to disappoint. We eat in the dining room every year and this year even ordered off the pub menu because why spend 40 dollars on an entree when you know in advance it’s going to be terrible. I ordered the vegan burger (thinking it would be a safe option) and it was literally so burned I couldn’t eat it. The fish and chips were soggy and the ribs were meatless and underwhelming. We keep coming back for the location and overall atmosphere but my god, I’m not sure why the food can’t get sorted out. The server who was great took the burned burger off the bill but I would rather have decent edible food. And it’s not just a one off because it’s our 6th year and we knew the food would be disappointing. Shame on us i guess! We will keep coming back but likely start cooking our own food in the cabin. Spending hundred of dollars for a party of 6 for mediocre food is a waste. Drinks are good though!
