Ulasan Dive Inn Resort

We are on our last day of a week long stay at the Duve Inn resort. We have had the best time and are very sad to be leaving. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff. The hotel is only a short transfer from the airport, we arrived past 10pm and we had food and drinks prepared for us as soon as we checked in. The rooms are basic but clean and the air conditioning was good. The showers are hot and powerful at all times of the day. There is a kettle with tea and coffee facilities in the rooms plus a fridge and a hairdryer. There is plenty of mirrors in the rooms for multiple people to get ready for the evenings. The beds and bedding are comfortable and there is a laundry service available. The cleaners do a fantastic job and there is fresh towels, water and toilet roll daily. The food is fantastic with a great salad and fruit selection daily, soup, pizza, chips, pasta plus fresh meat barbecued every evening. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area in the restaurant with good air-conditioning inside. Local spirits, beer and soft drinks are available with the all inclusive but cocktails are extra and wine is only available with lunch and dinner. Ice cream is also chargeable unless served with dinner. The shop onsite is very reasonably priced and never seems to close! The pool is well sized and always very clean with plenty of pool activities throughout the day. There are plenty of sun lounger and we never struggled to find one, although in peak season this may be different. The hotel is very close to all the tourist attractions, the old market was best for shopping but a strong resolve and bartering skills are needed. For a less pressured shopping experience soho square is fantastic but the prices are higher. Everything is so beautiful and well kept throughout all the tourist areas. The Mosque in the old market is just stunning. Naama bay is great for an evening out with plenty of shops, bars and shisha cafes. We were disappointed with Farsha cafe. Due to recent popularity it was very over crowded, and despite arriving over an hour before sunset we were not able to be seated on the mountain for the lights switch on due to numbers of people. I recommend going next door to Santorini where the view is still great but much more space and cheaper drinks prices. The absolute best thing about this hotel is the staff, everyone is so friendly and cannot do enough to help you. Tipping well gets you superb service. The staff around the pool, (bar staff, lifeguards and animation team) are fun and friendly. The animation team particularly have been a highlight of our holiday. They are so friendly and work tirelessly in the heat offering activities for guests. They provide organised trips in the evening for party nights, which ensured we had some great nights out with the security of knowing we had transport there and back organised, escorts for the whole evening and knowledge of where to go for the best parties.
