Our “panoramic view” room included the view of heating vents, wall graffiti and security bars. To their credit, we could see a bit of the sea be walking out on our patio and looking to extreme right. They don’t promise a closet nor rod to hang your clothes…and they don’t provide one. Rather they provided a shelf unit with some hangers. The room was clean save for the rust in the bathroom sink. Hostel might be a better descriptor than boutique hotel. The service and the food in the restaurant were ok. The location is up a hill from the main city about 600 m. Unfortunately we were probably not their target audience and fortunately we were here only one night.

Spent 2 nights here after completing the W-trek. The hotel is creatively decorated with delightful details everywhere you look. Every staff member was so helpful and kind!! They responded to email questions before our trip and made arrangements for transportation and a massage for me. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had heated towel rack with large towels and high end toiletries. The restaurant had amazing food and views of the city!! Recommend 10/10!!

This is a charming hotel, decorated with farmhouse decor and many antiques. Rooms are a good size with nice amenities. Our room, facing the front of the hotel, had great views of the city and the Strait of Magellan (see picture). Staff is helpful and accommodating. There is a lovely breakfast room with a nice breakfast including cooked-to-order items. The only negative, and this could be important for some people, is that there is no elevator and you need to walk up one flight of stairs just to reach the lobby and additional stairs to get to your room. There is a lift for luggage, however.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Stable room. We had a great view and a lovely deck. The room has plenty of space and a nice shower. The place could use a refresh but we were very happy here. The service is kind and impeccable. Breakfast includes good coffee and lots of fresh fruit.

Fabulous quirky hotel with great restaurant. Hotel sits on hillside with views over Punta Arenas. Staff, all dressed as gauchos, friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night between flights, but would have loved to stay longer. Each room was based on a different theme and decorated accordingly with many unusual touches, loved them. This is the place to stay if in Punta Arenas and can’t recommend highly enough.

An absolute gem in such a faraway place!!! We traveled to Punta Arenas for a boat ride to see the Penguins; our tour was cancelled due to high winds, but we still had a wonderful time. This hotel was constructed in the 1920s and is completely charming, with every room decorated differently; having said that, the rooms are comfortable, well-appointed, and the showers are fabulous. The hotel restaurant is exceptional in all respects; we enjoyed King Crab appetizers that were the best King Crab we've ever tasted. Service was wonderful and the bartender was happy to recommend things produced locally. Every staff member was as friendly and helpful as you could ask for.

We stayed 2 nights pre-cruise and one night post-cruise. The hotel is located straight up the street leading to the historic town square. Hotel has beautiful views of the city. We stayed in Milkman room and also Blacksmith room. Both were comfortable with King bed and large shower. We also ate at the hotel restaurant twice for dinner. We loved it. The free breakfast was also excellent. Staff were very helpful, super nice, and spoke some English. We’d definitely stay here again.

We booked a 3-week high-end Chile Tour via Cascada Expediciones of Santiago and this Restaurant & Hotel was the best we experienced. Booked this tour/room more than 1-1/2 years ago & Thank You kindly to Restaurant staff Maxi & Fredy & ??? AND Hotel staff Valentina, Mirko, Rene & Maria Jose & ???…and also to Daniel for specially sending out gaucho hat we forgot from the hotel to the airport before we departed…and coordinating shipping of expensive prescription sunglasses we forgot from the hotel to us…You are the Very Best…and we already plan to return!!!!! Tip: Book Here/Don’t Go Elsewhere!!

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. We stayed in the Orchard room on the top floor, with a balcony overlooking the city. The room was comfortable, warm and well equipped. The restaurant was very nice and well run at dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay again. The staff also noticed it was my birthday from my passport and arranged a number of unexpected treats during our stay.
