Ulasan Hotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote - All Inclusive

We booked the Riu for a one night extension and found the hotel, staff and facilities of an excellent standard! Will certainly look to book for a full vacation this summer ☺️

My travel agent wife has booked many people to this hotel over the years so we decided to check it out ourselves. First impressions were very disappointing. As many people have stated this is 2 separate hotels now connected by a walkway. First was the massive walk from reception to the “quiet “ part of the hotel. As we opened the door to our room we were greeted with a very disappointing location and view. We asked to be moved but were told there was no other rooms available. All week it was a long walk to the main part of the hotel where all activities, kids club, main restaurants and bars were located. Bit of a pain. The rest of the holiday was very good, rooms and grounds were immaculate. The hotel is in an excellent location for the beech. Food and drink was good. Bit of a free for all at meals times but that’s what I’d expect an all inclusive. The things that I will remember most fondly from the hotel were the excellent staff and especially the kids club. Our little lad had the time of his life.

We went here for heated pool it was cold why say you have heated pool when it is not will not come back food OK people reserving sunbeds from early walking round to find sunbed staff very good but I go for sun and to relax could not even swim as to cold

We really couldn't fault our holiday at Riu. We've been to Riu hotels before and we now positively chose them and recommend them to friends and family.

Stayed for 10 days. Lovely hotel, never queued for a table at meal times and always something nice to eat. The two restaurants were great for alternative choices. 24/7 bar plus pool bars available. Will stay again Only thing that lets it down is the reception staff not very welcoming or friendly on arrival or the couple of times we asked them for help with directions and travel around the island

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it was as good as the first time, the room was very nice and the food very good and varied. The entertainment team are really very good and put on some great shows every night.

High standards throughout - we had a very enjoyable holiday. Choice of food was great, staff were always very helpful, rooms are clean and spacious. Plenty of activities and entertainment. The hotel is a short walk to the centre of the resort for plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and close to the airport for quick transfers.

Hotel is nice and clean, we had a lovely sized room on ground floor very near to pool and restaurant. This was ideal for us with a pram and small baby. Hotel is let down by the food, although quality and taste is good, it is very repetitive. We read mixed reviews before going and thought people were being over the top when saying about burgers, chicken nuggets and chips. Unfortunately they were not wrong. They have a roast every night but apart from that it is chips, nuggets, plain meat, the same 3/4 pasta dishes, pizzas and burgers. Every single day. Obviously they have salad, veg, nice bread, etc. too but in terms of main meal it became very monotonous and unhealthy! Breakfast was good though. We have been to many 4* AI hotels and this was probably at the bottom for food. Heated pool was nice, aqua gym everyday. Lots of activities going on if that’s your kind of thing. Lovely location on the beach with a long promenade and very close to airport which is ideal. Staff are pleasant but service is standard and nothing in comparison to other places we have been (e.g. Egypt and Morocco). This was our first time visiting Lanzarote and did enjoy it. Can get very windy which we were aware of prior to going, however could not fault the weather for time of year. Wouldn’t return to this hotel due to the food but everything else was nice enough. Must say that the hotel is very accessible with a pram and baby if this is relevant to you.

Excellent service from Reception staff, house keeping, bar and restaurant staff. A very comfortable room near all amenities as asked for. As we were above the Theatre it was a little noisy until the entertainment finished at 10.45 and there were a few inconsiderate people who were shouting on the corridor as they left entertainment at 2am. as they made their way to the Bridge.This didn’t affect the enjoyment of our holiday.

A very nice hotel in a beautiful location, the service as always at RIU is top notch and the food is delicious

Myself Husband and Son have just got back from an amazing 7 day Holiday here in RIU Paraiso Lanzarote. The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean everywhere. As a non smoker I loved the fact that guest have a designated area they can sit and smoke in whilst sunbathing around the pool, so the area is kept clean of all cigarette butts. The hotel always had enough sun-beds and parasols for everyone. If there wasn’t and people who arrived through the day couldn’t find one they went and fetched more. The Hotel is VERY big as it originally was 2 separate hotels now combined into one. The hotel is joined by a LARGE LONG walk way so be prepared on arrival If your in the 2nd section of the hotel - this felt like a mammoth walk. Then later you can see the short cut for everyday walk to the main area. We were in the 2nd part of the hotel with the large pool with the island in the middle, this we found suited us better as the other 2 pools in the main section on the hotel looked crammed! Loved the fact the hotel accommodates for the disabled and has a slope into the pool where I observed a wheelchair user being able to access this in the chair and then the chair was taken out till needed again. Well done to the hotel, pluses lifeguard was happy to assist if needed. Only negative thing, that I would say about the pool is the half section of the pool where ball games are allowed is a pain as balls are flying everywhere. Two older french lads were being really rough playing and hitting the ball into people and their parents were not saying anything!!, at the time the lifeguard (of this day) was to busy talking to his friend to observe this! (Needs to be more aware of what’s going on) lots of people were getting angry with the boys as had enough by then! Apart from that the pool area is amazing! Pool snack and bar was great, nachos with cheese, burgers chicken Prosecco, wine cocktails, larger on tap. On arrival on your stay you get a card that you get the towels for your sun-bed by the pool. Rooms was lovely, fresh towels when needed, large balcony’s with a table and chairs for evening. Could do with the light for the balcony as there isn’t one and your unable to sit out when dark so suggestion to the hotel perhaps to install them. Had a rack to air your towels and dry them. Main restaurant- amazing food caters for all. Loved the fresh prawns, assortment of cheeses and hams can not fault this at all. We dined in the Asian restaurant and the Canary one both were lovely, a little slow in the canary one and we found staff werent as friendly as the Asian one and had to ask for some drinks in the end as waiter was too busy focusing on another table to much, but was lovely atmosphere and more relaxing that main restaurant. Entertainment was Ok to be honest we never really went in there only a couple of times we were quite happy sat playing cars in the bar area or we went out for a walk. Second year at this hotel. Excellent hotel, service and food. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Across the road from the beach. Lovely walk along the front, very flat and accessible for all.

What an awesome holiday with family and friends. Made more memorable by the hotel. Every one was professional, friendly and welcoming. The hotel accommodated both adults and the children. The entertainment for both was brilliant. Great quality and choices in both food and hit and cold beverages. A very clean well maintained hotel. Thank you for an excellent stay
