Very nice and cozy place

We were just there for five glorious days and once again had the best time. We dined one night - their restaurant is popular with both locals and visitors to the Amalfi Coast. The seafood is excellent and their lemon risotto is the best i've ever had. They've updated mattresses and bedding since last year, but the photos on TA don't yet reflect it. The family who runs this establishment is so kind and attentive - anything you need and they will help you! It's one of those places I want to keep a secret. ; ) I love visiting here, and I will be back!

We stayed here for 4 beautiful nights. I called them as *********** had no availability and Filipo sorted us out a room for 4 nights. Staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and very helpful! They arranged a driver to take us back to Naples airport. We were very grateful for that. The breakfast was also good. We also ate at the restaurant most evenings as the food was just amazing! Praiano is a lovely place to stay as it’s between Positano and Amalfi. They also helped us rent a scooter which again was a big help. The rooms were also very clean. Thank you to the staff for looking after us, we had a lovely time! Thank you to Filipo, Elio, Luigi, Catrina, Giovanni and of course to the rest of the staff!

The location is just perfect. Close to Positano and the other towns from the coast. The SITA bus station and the internal one is very close, 2 min walk. The garden is absolutely amazing, with a lot of lemon trees and breathtaking views. All the rooms have either a private balcony or a deck and sun beds. We stayed in a standard double room as we booked in short notice and the room is average. The pillow are from a very old , dirty and gross sponge and aren’t comfortable at all. Maybe a small investment for a better sleep quality it would be needed. The breakfast was just fine. The restaurant has also great views but the food was expensive for Praiano and also it wasn’t so tasty. There are small portions too. Overall is a good value for money given the location and the accessibility to all other attractions

Amazing lunch on the coast of Napoli. Enjoy many authentic tastes of Napoli’s delicacies as you dine under the amazing canopy of lemon trees filled with fruit native to the region of Positano. Delicacies include handmade pasta, fresh fish and house specialty lemonade. Unbeatable view of the mountain side and the coastline. Go soon—you’ll love every minute!

My wife and I had a horrible experience at this hotel that forced us to reduce our anniversary stay from four nights to two nights. I would unequivocally not recommend this hotel to anyone. Multiple factors drove our decision to leave early, including: 1) Poor hygiene - upon our arrival, we found our sheets were ripped and chip crumbles were sprawled all over our bed. The room clearly hadn’t been cleaned. What was more concerning? Our bed had ants on it, there were worms in the room and spiders all over the ceiling. We couldn’t sleep at night and we dreaded the idea of returning to our hotel every night 2) Proximity of our room to the hotel - we were placed in a room that was at least half a kilometer from the hotel entrance and down a series of windy unpaved stairs. On the way up from check out, the hotel only sent one person to pick up our three bags. My wife and I picked up the rest, even after we said we’d pay for pick up. The path to our room and hike up was downright dangerous 3) Recycled breakfast - if the above doesn’t deter one from staying here, perhaps the recycled breakfast will. They serve up yesterday’s dishes to guests every morning. We didn’t have an appetite to indulge in food at any point 4) Location of the hotel - it’s very far from anything worth seeing in Amalfi and you most definitely won’t want to spend time at the hotel given the above To top things off, the hotel coerced my wife and I to pay at the end of the stay in spite of the fact that we’d already paid online with ***********. We effectively paid for 8 nights instead of the two that we’d stayed and the four we intended to stay for. The hotel receptionist (also the restaurant manager) would not let us leave until we paid and refused to call *********** to help see things from our perspective. Overall, this is a hotel that clearly originated as a restaurant and has limited familiarity with the basic requirements of how to operate a hotel (cleanliness, service, resource requirements, guest safety). It was our worst ever hotel stay. A stay here will surely sour any trip you take to this beautiful part of the world. Please avoid it at any cost.

Terrible!! I traveled with 3 girlfriends and booked a room with 1 double bed and two twins but we got 1 double bed, 1 single sofa and 1 rollaway bed. We complained but instead of switching rooms or giving a decent bed, they offered to charged an additional room. One of my worst nights i have spent on my trip since the rollaway was full of bed bugs which I got bites all over the place. They only removed the sofa and rollaway the next day after we continued complaining even though the hotel was almost empty. The food is not good at the restaurant! I don’t give 1 star to this place because the view is amazing and Franco the old man who helped us with our luggage was very sweet. Bad experience!!!

Laved location! Amazing family business. Great location! Great experience at restaurant. Would go back in a heartbeat. Say hello to Elio! Parking space available! 😍until we meet again ! I felt so welcomed and safe!

We absolutely loved our stay at Locanda costa diva. The buffet was so delicious and they have eggs and bacon guys! Not just pastries which was a pleasant surprise. The service is remarkably! All the staff is simply amazing and always willing to help with a smile. Praiano is the perfect location if you want to be away from the tourists. You can walk to the bus stop and ferry. Bus stop is a 2 minute walk and ferry about 8 mins. There’s a convenience store right next to the bus stop making life so much easier in case you need snacks or water or sunblock. Etc. I never made it to the beach area since I always took the bus into either Positano or Sorrento.,,, Oh and Fiorno di Furore is literally 6 mins away via bus in Amalfi direction. Amazing! You must see this hidden gem
