Lovely Prague Apartments - Truhlářská

I would book again. Great place for a group of friends traveling.

On arrival you need to check in elsewhere to get your key and information regarding the apartment. Then it’s about a 5 minute walk to find your apartment. The apartment is looking a little tired but it’s clean and very functional. The bed is huge and we managed to get good quality sleep. However, the bed is awkward to get onto due to hight and a ledge sticking out from under the mattress. Heating and WiFi were excellent and the area wasn’t noisy at all. Location is fine, close enough to all attractions within walking distance. For the price we payed, we got good value for money.

Had a lovely break in the beautiful city of Prague. Stayed in the lovely prague apartments only about 8 minutes from the old town. Excellent location and easy access. Receptionist was friendly and apartment was stunning all new and beautifully decorated. We had to bedrooms which were very spacious two bathrooms and a spacious kitchen living room area. Excellent

We had a three bedroom apartment on the top floor which was very spacious, clean and well presented. Thankfully high up enough to not hear too much street noise but did hear the odd drunk on a couple of nights. Bedroom blinds could be a lot better at blocking out the light and the shower could also be better (more adjustable than it currently is). Apart from that the apartment was lovely. Check in was easy enough, even after arriving behind 5pm when reception closes. Bit of an inconvenience that Lovely Apartments doesn’t have its own reception so you have to travel to next street along and use the reception in Emporio apartments - same building just no easy cut through between the two. Location is excellent. Quiet enough street close to all of the action just a few mins walk away. Large shopping centre close by and the old town just 5 mins walk away. Tram stop and metro also 5 mins away, perfect for travelling right around Prague. Recommended stay.

I do not even know where to start highlighting the long list of issues with this place. The only positive is that the apartment itself was okay - decent place, kitchen and location. But at this price point in Prague you can find plenty of other nice places that won't literally treat you and your family like garbage. Let's start with our booking: 1) Said kids stay free - not so - they charged for my kids and refused to change it. 2) My arrival was after hours - arrived by train a female alone with 2 kids (11 and 13) - we travel the world together and have since they were very little. We are extremely seasoned travelers. I received an email directing me to the address of the box with the key to the apartment. The key didn't work in the door! Thankfully someone let us into the building but the key didn't work in the apt door! Once again, nice people came to our rescue and opened the door and offered to call the manager. He said we were supposed to go to an entirely different building about 1/2 mile away!!! No directions, nothing but an address and with a foreign phone without cell service or wifi (and at night with 2 kids after having already paid for a taxi ride from the train station and bringing luggage to the 2nd floor) that's less than optimal. Nice people on the street gave us wifi access and we found it through google maps. 3) We went to the main office the next morning and explained the complications. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY!!! Not a map of the city. Nothing. 4) Housekeepers didn't come day 2 - I emailed and they lied and said my do not disturb sign was on the door (it was not). 5) The next day we emailed the office when we left for the housekeepers to come. They never came. The next day the housekeepers used the key to barge into the apt unannounced and proceeded to "clean" the room. They didn't even make the beds! I emailed questioning whether making the beds was to be expected. No reply. I could continue but you get the gist. 6) I asked for the manager to follow up - nothing. I asked again and about a week later I got an email from her making excuses for absolutely every concern I had. Such an incredibly disappointing experience.

Cleanliness and location are excellent. A short walking distance from the old town square. Special thanks to the friendly and caring staff. If we plan a trip again, I think we will choose you again. Thank you for everything

You begin by picking your keys up from Emporio Apartments (5 mins walk). However, we found it quite difficult to find our actual apartment from here due to lack of advertising above the door, we had to use google maps for this. The room itself is a great size with all the required appliances and a extra king size bed. The apartment is a ten minute walk from the markets in Old Town Square and around the corner from the nearest Metro. The Wi-Fi is amazing but we couldnt get the TV to work but this wasnt a big problem. There was about ten other apartments in the same building but we never had any problems with noise etc. I would highly recommend for young couples like us. Great stay!

The lovely apartments are perfectly lovely, we got ours super cheap and I was a bit hesitant about that, but I didn’t need to be, we had a two bed apartment with separate living room, bathroom and kitchen. The apartment was super clean, well kitted out and very tastefully decorated. I was concerned being on the first floor of the noise but it was nice and quiet. Perfectly located just of the main shopping area and only a 10 minute walk to the old square, 5 minutes to trams and metros. Will def stay again.
