Travelodge Porthmadog

Great in all respects including friendliness and efficiency of reception staff. Would have no hesitation in selecting Travel lodge for a future visit.

Warm friendly stay pleasant staff, room was nice, if there was anything I could criticise is I'd provide a shower door rather than a shower curtain. There is a 5 minute short walk into town, also.

A proper hotel, a welcome smile, not cold. It was very quiet and cosy warm. I did not want to leave. Very clean, also difficult to find fault. Good value for money.

Had to travel to porthmadog and needed a hotel for overnight stay. Travelodge answered this need exactly also very helpful with pointing us in right direction for evening meal

The hotel is on an industrial area just outside of town. That's fine, we knew that. But the outside appearance of the building was terrible. Guttering was broken and completely full of weeds, the windows were filthy and the paths also full of weeds. Mollie on reception was the only positive part of our stay which was booked as 4 nights but we cut short and only stayed 2. The tiles in the bathroom looked like they had been wiped with a muddy cloth and there were bits all on the floor. The room was stifling when we arrived, so much so we had to have a fan running all night. First night was fairly quiet but 2nd night was a lot of door banging and general noise. No one on reception apart from booking in and getting fan when we first arrived. We wouldn't recommend this hotel, we won't be staying again. *Travelodge have been very responsive to an email and have promised a part refund*

Porthmadog Travelodge is close to the town and offers clean, comfortable rooms and free parking. The staff are wonderful.
