Hotel Pelion Resort

Just a one-night stay, but I was impressed by the courtesy and welcoming of the staff. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is mostly made up of two-storey houses built on a hill overlooking the city of Volos with nice pathways and a swimming pool and bar in the middle. Although it was almost fully-booked, the peace and quiet was overwhelming at night. Short distance from Portaria main square, take your car there if you cannot handle the steep 15-minute walk.

A lovely hotel on the edge of the town. We only stayed one night en-route to our destination but it was a good choice. The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable and the hotel staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast has a lovely choice and it was very peaceful to eat breakfast on a the patio surrounded by trees with a view of the pool.

I recommend this resort for kindness, cleanliness, comfort and breakfast. I left , forgot something in the room and when contacted a couple of days later, they were helpful and said they will put it aside.

NEVER AGAIN unfortunately… We booked this hotel via telephone in order to make sure that 4 families with 6 kids get the availability for rooms and the best possible. The reservation lady gave us different info from what the site was suggesting as 8 categories of rooms. We found that awkward but we asked for any of the specific we wanted from these 8. After we told her what rooms we see as provided for the hotel on the site, then she sent us an offer according to the ones suggested on the site. We had asked for a Junior Suite with fireplace and were offered one (without the clarification of a fireplace) at the rate of 130€. We deposited the guarantee and came here on the 27th of October to find that our room was NOTHING like the suite! It was a mere triple room, with the least windows in the hotel! When I asked for a better one with a view, they told me that I had booked a TRIPLE ROOM plus one bed, and that this was the meaning of THEIR JUNIOR SUITE. I showed them the 8 categories they have under the ROOMS link on their site as of today, and still they told me that even though they write this elaboratively, when one tries to reserve a room they get only 4 rooms available and that the Junior Suite is never offers with a fireplace and that in the fine writing it is referred as a triple room… I was furious as it was obvious that they have the 8 categories to lure customers! I told them so and instead of them finding a solution, they denied everything, they blamed me for not calling myself to reserve, and called the owner as well. The owner arrived only to make things worse, raised the tone to my tense tone after my disappointment and told me to leave as I was telling them that I would if I found anything elsewhere. I went out to call another hotel, only to hear the owner in 20 meters or so from me to say to his colleagues “HE MAY LEAVE, HE CAN GO F@@@ HIMSELF AND LEAVE”… I went back and informed them that I was expecting a call, that never came, from another hotel, and told him kindly that him SWEARING for me to others was his character and customer service! He DID NOT APOLOGIZE and said that he would do so only to clients… The rooms were poorly maintained, with door knobs falling in 2 out of 4 rooms, old towels. The breakfast caterers were very kind, and breakfast was adequate. It was good for the kids with a football field and playground. VERY UNFORTUNATE AS HOTEL MANAGEMENT to say the least

Μαγικά και Ονειρεμένα! Όπως είπε η γυναίκα μου , είναι πιο όμορφο από κοντά , από τις φωτό! Περάσαμε ένα φανταστικό και ξεκούραστο 3ημερο 13-16/8 , σε ένα πραγματικά πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο , στα 750μ , με εξαιρετική πισίνα , όμορφο χώρο , τελεια και χαμογελαστή εξυπηρέτηση και το κερασάκι ….pet friendly! Πήγαμε χωρίς τα παιδιά μας , αλλά το κοκκόνι μας , είναι μέλος και αυτό! Σας ευχαριστουμε πολύ , εις το επανιδείν (χειμώνα αυτή τη φορά)

Όμορφο περιβάλλον εξυπηρετικό και πολύ φιλικό προσωπικό, καθαριότητα … Στα θετικά και το καλό πρωινό και τα δωμάτια με θέα. Επίσης το ξενοδοχείο είναι pet friendly με όλη την σημασία της λέξεως!Ηρεμία και χαλάρωση είναι αυτά που αντιπροσωπεύουν το ξενοδοχείο

Να λοιπον γιατι ειναι μετριο ενω θα επρεπε να ειναι πολυ καλο. Κρατηση για σουιτα και ναι απο της 11 που μπηκαμε στο δωματιο μεχρι αργα το απογευμα στις 9 η θερμοκρασια του δωματιου ηταν για μπουφαν ενω η κεντρικη θερμανση ηταν στο φουλ. ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟΝ,,,,,η δικαιολογια ετοιμη οτι δεν εμενε καποιος πριν και ηταν κρυο. Σας τα γραφω επειδη οτι και να μου πειτε και πληρωσα οσα ζητησατε και ΚΡΥΩΝΑ . Μονη λυση το τζακι οπου μας εσωσε κυριολεκτικα （με χρεωση τα επομενα ξυλα εκτος των λιγων πρωτον） Αφου κανει κρυο κυριοι και το ξερετε βουνο εισαστε η φροντιστε να βαλετε εχτρα θερμανση η αναψτε τα νωριτερα εφοσον ειναι κλεισμενα δωματια（το κανουν πολλα ξενοδοχεια） Μπαρ Σαββατο βραδι και λεω ας ρωτησω για κανα γλυκο,,,,ουτε για αστειο. Ποτα στο μπαρ τα απολυτος απαιραιτητα τιποτα ιδιαιτερο και εκει . Απο το προσωπικο σε εστιατοριο και μπαρ χαμογελο δεν ειδα ποτε . Με εξαιρεση ολα τα παιδια που εργαζοντουσαν στην ρεσεψιον που και ηταν προσχαροι και ετοιμοι να εξυπηρετησουν .. Μπραβο παιδια ειστε το στολιδι του ξενοδοχειου,,,,απο εκει και κατω το χαος σε συμπεριφορες,,,ειδικα ενας τυπος που το επαιζε καρδιναλιος και τον ειδα σε ολα τα ποστα. Κατα τα αλλα για να ειμαι σωστος ,,,,παρκιν πολυ καλο ,,θεση ξενοδοχειου πολυ καλη ,,,,σουιτα παγωμενη αλλα καθαρη .. Και πρωινο ενα κλικ πριν το τελειο. Διακοσμος σε εστιατοριο και γενικα δωματιου πααρα πολυ καλα . Δεν θα ξαναπαω γιαυτα που εγραψα αλλα ειναι κριμα γιατι ειναι ενα πολυ ομορφο ξενοδοχειο που το χανει στις λεπτομερεις . Ολη η κριτικη μου ειναι καλοπροαιρετη γιατι μιλω σαν πελατης ,, αν το καταλαβετε ειναι προς κερδος σας ..

Αν και με φοβησαν κάποιες κριτικές, από την πρώτη στιγμή με κέρδισε. Υπέροχο φαγητό πεντακάθαρα όλα, καθημερινή καθαριότητα αλλαγή σεντόνια. Το προσωπικό ευγενεστατο με προθυμία. Το πρωινό αρκετά καλό. Ηρεμία και χαλάρωση .Θα ξανάρθω σίγουρα.

Εξαιρετικό συγκρότημα με θέα όλο το Πήλιο. Μεγάλα, ευρύχωρα και πεντακάθαρα δωμάτια ιδανικά για οικογένειες. Την περίοδο που το επισκεφθήκαμε λόγω καιρού δεν μπορέσαμε να μπούμε στην πισίνα αλλά τα παιδιά ευχαριστήθηκαν την παιδική χαρά. Πρωινό πλήρες για τα δεδομένα μας. Το προσωπικό φιλικότατο.
