Ulasan Iririki Island Resort & Spa

After experiencing a total black out at 7:30 pm with no way of reaching reception, we took the long walk (mostly in the dark) to the office. They told us that the staff was done for the day (at 5 pm) and there was no way the problem could be fixed. We were very upset and were shifted from the desk staff to the owner. He said: "If you raise your voice I will kick you off the island!" No show of empathy or any concern for our plight -- indeed he shifted the blame from the hotel to us. We were in disbelief, even horrified. They offered moving our room in the dark. We wondered why there was not a person on call for these crises. We went to dinner expecting to move rooms upon our return. Lo and behold an IT person was found. The problem was fixed. My poor review is based on the owner's behavior. We learned later that many other guests and locals have troubling stories about their behavior as well. The staff was lovely and cooperative. This is a management issue. Advice: Do do put this resort at the top of your list when considering a trip to beautiful Vanuatu.
