Our first time staying at Gaivota but definitely not the last. From check-in to check-out, everything and everyone did an amazing job. Highly recommend.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel at home during an unexpectedly long stay. Our plans changed, so we needed to extend our stay. The folks at the front desk arranged it so that we didn't even need to change rooms. The central location in Ponta Delgada made it easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit.

The location was perfect! My 83 year old mother and I were able to walk to most of the big attractions in town.
The breakfast buffet was incredible! Many unique options and tasted great.
The walkway along the main street was convenient for strolling and sitting.
We would definitely stay here again.

I liked its central location and staff. This was my second time at this hotel. I stayed in this hotel in 2018 and rebooked it.
What I did not like was that room 17 is right next to a tin shhet roof and the rain makes quite a noise waking people up. Should clad adjacent roof in a different material.

Great location on the harbor. Lots of places to walk and enjoy an outdoor lunch or dinner. The hotel breakfast was wonderful. Many choices for breakfast.
There was a young woman at the desk (I forgot her name) she went above and beyond to help us when we had flight problems. All the staff were wonderful, she was exceptional.

Small Hotel but quite and everyone was very nice.

The staff were so friendly and kind, always happy to answer questions. The room was large and clean with lovely views of the harbour, the room was quiet and the air condition was great. The property was central.
